She's classically trained in ballet, but her dance major right now is focusing on lyrical dance- she likes the freedom of movement in lyrical a lot better than her ballet background.

Her grandparents are from Cuba, and she's very close with her Abuelita! She visits her whenever she finds time between her busy schedule of work, school, and dance rehearsals, and calls her most weekends to check in.

Novia is incredibly kind-hearted, and she worries a lot about the wellbeing of her friends and family. She's definitely the 'drink water, here take a sip from my nalgene' type of friend.

She's an early to bed, early to rise type- gets up most mornings between 4 and 5 am.

She's pretty short, sitting at about 5'1".

She puts stickers on e v e r y t h i n g. Absolutely everything she owns is covered in them, and it's not uncommon when working with her to find a new one on work stations, small ones dotted across her cheeks, or for her to walk up and just pop one on your shirt.

In light of my life experiences now and always I feel it's necessary to remind folks that Lowell is disabled, has always been disabled, and will always be disabled. Lowell has a progressive chronic neurological illness and it is absolutely crucial to understanding his character.

So ahem, me a trans male asked my father to use he/him on me, he said he wasn’t comfy with it, and that we can’t deny the laws of nature. He just said to me I’ll always be his daughter. So I’ve been crying for like 5 mins bc of that lmao, how would Lowell help MC with that?

Lowell is also trans and would be absolutely FURIOUS on your behalf. He also comes from an unsupportive family and he knows exactly how much that hurts. He would hold you and reassure you that you're more of a man than someone like that could EVER be, pet your hair and tell you thay he absolutely sees you as a male and that anyone who says otherwise is wrong and that you don't deserve to be hurt like that.

Is that makeup Lowell's wearing? He looks so cool! Would he be willing to do the MC's makeup if they asked? I'm absolutely awful at putting on any makeup on myself, and I have a really hard time sitting still (especially when someone's trying to put eyeshadow and eyeliner on me) but I think it'd still be fun! :D I used to play dress up with my friend where we'd choose each other's outfits and do each other's makeup, would Lowell like doing that?

He is wearing makeup! He does a full face with false eyelashes pretty much every day. He likes how colorful it is, and he looks a lot more... dead without it all. He also accentuates his mouth with blush at the corners to make it look more frog-like, and the color palette is based off of a type of poison dart frog. The man likes frogs 🤷‍♂️

He would be DELIGHTED to do your makeup and dress you up- he very much considers you a part of his doll collection and at first in the game he primarily treats you like one- tea parties, dress up, makeup, and all. The romance aspect of this game actually comes a little bit later on, and will be dependant on player interactions. You'll have the opportunity to play it as a romance, a friendship, or a straight up horror. Lowell's inclination to do those kinds of activities with you will stay consistent through all of those routes, though!

A little bit yes, a little bit no! Some of you may have known I was in. A really, horrifically bad spot about 6 months ago before I moved across the country. I'm still struggling to recover from what the move and all of the stress has done to my body and my energy- I was already chronically ill with severe fatigue but it's been really god awfully bad lately. On top of that, I don't have the additional income from student aid since I have to wait to gain residency in my new state to be able to afford school, so I'm having to work to make enough to like. barely eat throughout the month and MAYBE pay bills on time (never mind my debt from moving so short notice and the situation I was in 🤡). I'm disabled and I really don't function well when I'm working, so I've been sleeping a lot, unable to keep up with keeping my house clean and my spouse taken care of, haven't been able to establish medical care here yet, and in a lot of pain. that being said, I'm not scared of where I live anymore and I'm no longer in active danger or an abusive situation.

so it's really a toss up but my silence here is largely medical related, including the fact that I can no longer afford the correct amount of my antidepressants so a bitch is withdrawing and having a mental health flare lmao

I miss you all and I want to get back in the swing of things as soon as I can! I like working on my games and interacting with my community! it's good for my mental well being and it helps me express myself and feel some purpose, and I hope spread some joy! right now I'm just trying to scrape by any energy possible to keeping living, though, so we'll see when I'm able to get back on the wagon. I'm also just TRULY embarrassed by the delay with FoE at thus point, and have ruminated on the project just long enough that I've started gutting and redesigning a lot of it.
