I should post about this too, for the sake of courtesy. .

Dear US citizens. .

As someone who was born and raised in a censorship heavy and oppressive country, with an honest heart, I can't say I feel a tinge of sympathy for any of you. I want to tell you that you need to stop whining because just like we do, you'll live. I spent my entire life watching you all have infinitely more privilege and audacity to do as you please than I'll ever see in my country, and how unaware you were until it was too late.

However, I will still tell you some very simple things to keep in mind:

Get a trustworthy VPN.

Switch to Firefox.

Make sure you routinely clear your cookies and get trackers off of your back.

Deactivate your Twitter account(s), and send an email to the HQ to erase your data.

(I do not care how proud you are that you were there when Jack was the CEO, would you rather exercise your right to take your data back or let Elon have your information?)

Find unbiased news sources.

(You lot do not have anywhere near the amount of censorship that would require this, but find underground journalists who post on Tor links, if you really need to.)

Decenter yourself while in public.

(Do not speak of your political alliance. Do not mention any marginalized part of you that you are able to hide. Do Not Out Anyone. Keep everyone's information private. Lie, lie, and lie some more. Keep your lips sealed shut and watch out for even the slightest thing that might give you away, it's much easier than you think.)

Be prepared for anything. The laws mean nothing to deranged presidents. The laws are not as infallible as you might think.

Stock up on food. Grains, oils, and canned foods are must haves.

(The most basic foods will reach insane prices in the blink of an eye. Get them while you can. Grow fruits and vegetables at home if you have the means.)

Don't go around complaining about how it's all so unfair.

(It is very unfair and you have every right to be upset, but once again, decenter yourself and stop feeling entitled to being openly dramatic. You Are In Danger, And Complaining Won't Save You.)

That's a well done summary of everything I should say for now.

Welcome to the club, everyone.

Hello,

My name is CJ and I’m a trans man. I grew up in a small town in North Carolina and I still live there today. My dad is a Chilean immigrant and he came to this country when he was only 8, spending most of his life in the beautiful land of Puerto Rico. My mom grew up in Florida (where I was born) and has mainly Irish ancestry. I have two older brothers, both in college. One attends Juilliard, the other UNCC. Most of my friends are a part of the LGBTQ+ community. I also have friends who are children of immigrants, just like me.

When I was born, it was induced by medication and I was born 8 weeks early due to a disease my mom had contracted while pregnant with me. We both survived thanks to the doctors and nurses who helped my mom deliver me safely. Due to my premature birth, I have struggled my whole life with chronic illness and disability.

I am telling you all of this because I am scared. Tomorrow is November 5th, Election Day, and depending on who wins I may be in serious danger.

Please, for the sake of me, my friends, my family, the trans community, the chronically ill, the disabled community, immigrants, immigrant families, women who need access to healthcare, and EVERY. SINGLE. American citizen…

šŸ’™VOTE BLUEšŸ’™

I don’t want my rights to be taken from me.

But the country is facing a difficult choice

And if you were to ask me who I'd promote

I dont live in the USA but right now I want to do nothing more then wrap everyone who is going to lose their rights from this in a massive hug and just never let go. the world has watched this debate and as an Australian, I can say that everyone I know is standing by you. anyone who jokes about this can go fuck themselves. none of you deserved this, and my DMs are open to anyone who needs to talk.

Non-Americans who find themselves wanting to jokingly ā€œweigh inā€ on what’s happening here in the United States…if you have anything other than good vibe or prayer or something other than ā€œaRE GuyZ oKaY?!ā€ to offer then shut the fuck up. This is real fucking shit.

Black people, people of color, queer people, trans people, women, immigrants, and pretty anyone who is not a white male are on the chopping block for the next four years if we don’t stay locked in and intervene at every attempt to silence and oppress these groups.

Real shit. So think about that when you decide to jokingly ask a question you already know the fucking answer to.

I'm sorry Australia. I didn't vote for him. I'm so sorry my stupid country has become fascist.

the fact that you didnt want this to happen means that its not your fault. while I may not be happy that trump won, I do not blame those who didn't vote for him. i blame the corruption that runs through so many country. i blame those who want to control others with no empathy for them. i blame people like trump for believing the "might is right" concept.

people in america that voted against trump, i do not blame you.

i blame the fucking idiots who run your country and leave you to suffer.

and so help me god if australia follows in their footsteps, I pray that the deaths in this country are smaller than we can hope.

WHAT US CITIZENS CAN DO NOW šŸ‘‡šŸ‘‡šŸ‘‡

YOU CAN CONTACT THE WHITEHOUSE DIRECTLY

- Go to https://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/

- Submit directly to the president

- Click the first option, select your reasoning as election security

State these pieces of information in a paragraph:

- 32 fake Bomb Threats were called into democratic leaning poll places, rendering polls to be closed first least an hour

- a lot of people were reporting their ballots weren't counted for various reasons that are not very sound seeming. (Signature invalidation, Information that the vote counter could not have had)

- This all occured in swing states (PA, NV, GA, etc)

- This is all too coincidental that these things happen and swing in his favor after months of hinting of foul play.

- DIRECTLY STATE THAT AN INVESTIGATION FOR TAMPERING/ INTERFERENCE/ FRAUD IS REQUIRED, NOT JUST A RECOUNT

I'm of the opinion that both candidates should have been disqualified for different reasons on each. (That said, Biden is absolutely better than trump if just because he's less likely to try and abolish our civil rights.) On Trump's side there's literally all of the crime. He's been impeached twice, has connections to a failed insurrection, and is now a convicted felon. He should be disqualified hands down. On the Biden side, putting aside age or mental wellness (cause those are touchy issues and I don't know how I feel there), honestly I don't think former vice presidents or immediate family members of former presidents should be allowed to run for president.

Now... all of that aside what we really need is Ranked Choice Voting and the abolition of the Electoral College. I think those two things would cause a significant positive change in US Politics

We're all fucked.

Okay so a lot of MAGA voters are regretting their vote and my first thought was definitely ā€œlmao get fucked, live with it like the marginalized groups you’ve forced this hell uponā€ but my second thought was that if us folks on the left decide to shun these people who’ve left MAGA we’re setting the precedent that there’s no point in deciding to change for the better and they should just stay with the nazis because they’ll be ostracized either way. The best time to stop supporting a fascist is before you do so in the first place but the second best time is now. It does truly take real strength to admit you’ve fucked up so incredibly badly as to help elect a nazi. It’s okay to be angry at the people who are somehow only now realizing trump won’t help them, and you don’t have to be friends with someone who did that, but as a collective let’s not turn them back to the nazis. Every person counts. Every person who decides to get off the MAGA train is one less person backing a fascist dictator.

I might not be a citizen one day

My friends are in danger because they want to be who they truly are inside

My family is in danger for wanting a better life

My sisters and loved ones may die because doctors are afraid to help her

Were we all not equal under our constitution?

Were our lives worth cheaper gas?

I can 100% see the point this person made. Trump has friends in high places, high places that would benefit if he was elected President again. This could be case that this election was rigged and we are going to have to suffer the consequences.

The Math Ain't Mathing

The Math Ain't Mathing

So I'm sure people are going to accuse me of being a conspiracy theorist, but the more I think about the results of this US election, the more it's clear that things aren't adding up.

Now don't get me wrong. I'm well aware of the US's long history of racism and misogyny, and it is totally possible -- in theory -- that more people voted for a moronic straight, white male who is an ajudicated grapist and convicted felon over a more-than-qualified, intelligent, results-driven woman of color for a position as leader of the wealthiest nation on earth.

I'm not saying that couldn't happen. But did it? Legitimately?

The more I think about Trump's campaign, the more fishy this result seems.

So here was a man with ...

virtually no policies (that he could talk about openly),

no ground game,

no door knocking apparatus to urge folks to get out the vote,

no phone banking,

he was constantly running out of money and had to shill products to raise more,

stole money from down ballot candidates, putting their marketing strategies at risk,

found liable for SA,

found guilty of millions of dollars in fraud,

constantly rambles and shows clear signs of being mentally unwell,

invokes violent and hateful language against specific communities as well as individuals,

bragged about being a dictator on Day 1,

had over 40 former cabinet members declare him unfit for office,

was called a fascist by his own former chief of staff,

was not endorsed by any reputable economists,

saw a flood of lifelong Republicans -- literally millions of them -- abandon their party to vote for his opponent,

has been impeached twice,

has seen sharply, dwindling crowd sizes at his rallies for the last 6 weeks,

... and somehow he won the popular vote by 5 million?

Even though he never won the popular vote in 2016? Or 2020?

Suddenly he "found" a bunch of votes from people who liked him?

Um, no.

Just no.

One of Trump's biggest failings is that he and his team tell lies like children. That is, they've never learned how to keep things believable. Like a misguided 10-year-old who is desperate to impress someone with his whopper of a tale, he always exaggerates to the point of hyperbole and insults our intelligence.

For example, he told us his rally at Wildwood, NJ this past summer had 108,000 even though the town itself only has 80,000 residents and the venue he held the rally in only held 20,000 people.

Or how he kept insisting that American kids are going to school and somehow receiving gender reassignment surgery over a couple of days and without parental consent before being sent home.

Each lie is so over the top and grandiose it makes him look infantile while at the same time insults our knowledge of reality.

And that's exactly what this feels like.

There is no way this man won the majority of the votes and the popular vote after only winning due to the electoral college the first time and not at all the second time. More people vilify him now than they did in 2016 and 2020, and that's saying something.

There just aren't enough voters in the US to give him a clear path to victory here no matter how committed his sycophants are to white supremacy. MAGA voters are not the majority of the voting electorate.

Also the fact that the exit polling data is suspiciously similar to the same tall tales Trump's been selling for the past year about how he had a ton of support in the Latino and Black communities, despite there being no data to support it at all. He was polling damn near 0% in some majority black communities like Detroit and Atlanta.

Yeah ... no.

This math ain't mathing.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but I know when something isn't adding up. And nothing about these results add up at all.

On top of that, they ran their entire campaign like they didn't care about people getting out to vote. They kept insulting different segments of the electorate over and over again, as if they didn't need the votes of single people or people without children.

Plus, we saw record voter registration leading up to the election. More people voting early in state after state, and millions of people voting for the first time in their lives. But somehow there were fewer votes cast in this 2024 election than in the 2020 election?

Hell, Georgia alone tripled its early voter turnout. So how is this election getting fewer votes than 4 years ago?!

There were historically longer lines than ever before in parts of the country that never saw long lines, and yet there were millions fewer votes counted so far this year? Are we really to believe that all those long lines and so many new voters managed to only add up to 136M versus 158M who voted in 2020?

I call bullshit!

Also, a number of folks are commenting on how quickly the states were called. In all my years of voting, I've never seen a US election turning around so fast. Not even Clinton vs Dole in 1996.

Yeah, the math ain't mathing.

Sure, he could've eeked out a win via the Electoral College without the popular vote like he did in 2016, but given her momentum and the majority of the polls either favoring her or having had them tied, none of these results passes the smell test.

Meanwhile, Harris had a multigenerational, multiracial, multiethnic, multigendered coalition of enthusiastic supporters who volunteered, phone banked, door knocked, and fundraised in every state plus D.C. Her media strategy was savvy, her interviews were sharp and intelligible, and her demeanor was inclusive and congenial. Again, not putting anything past good ole American racism and misogyny, but all the data showed that her supporters were clearly larger in number and more enthusiastic than his.

Long story short --

I do believe we are witnessing the American government being hijacked and a dictator installed right before our very eyes.

If by some miracle sweet potato Hitler doesn't win come the end of the week, this won't be necessary, but should he win here are some of the first things to be aware of or do.

If you know a trans person, no you don't. Respect them as best you can in private but you know nothing in public.

Be aware that TikTok will likely be banned, find new platforms to spread information. Fuck Twitter and what ever tiktok replacement he's working on.

Learn to Garden, even in winter so you can feed yourself should prices skyrocket

Get an air purifier. The Clean Air Act is likely to be stripped of its power with the EPA deregulated, air quality is going to suffer

Should you have kids, try to supplement history/social studies education. That's the first place they will attack, if you need help ask, history teacher will help

Try and do what you can to be aware of your health before January.

Help one another. That's the best way we can move forward and make change in the future.

FUCK PEOPLE WHO VOTED TRUMP. I hate you with all my heart and I hope you burn in hell.

but most importantly, FUCK PEOPLE WHO DIDN’T VOTE KAMALA HARRIS.

You thought you fucking did something by not voting, well guess what, this is partially your fault. You allowed this to happen. By not voting for Trump’s opponent, you let him win. I hope you’re fucking happy with yourself. Good fucking job.

Now everyone will suffer the consequences of your actions. Not only you americans, but people outside of the US as well.

You thought you stopped a genocide supporter, but you allowed another one, who by the way is much much worse, to come into power (AGAIN). You keep talking about how the system needs to be changed or whatever, and you joke about overthrowing the government, and that votes change nothing. Yet you don’t do anything. You want a revolution? Then fucking start one. Come on, change the system. Overthrow the government, go ahead. ā€œBoth candidates are evil and I don’t want either to be president!ā€ THEN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

Oh, you don’t actually want to do that? It sounds scary and impossible to achieve? Then you better at least fucking vote next time. Make a difference.

You achieved nothing, and only made things worse.
