Sliding back into the star trek fandom at warp speed because when seeing someones hat pommel (which had fallen off) I immediately thought of a tribble and had a little moment of panic because i wouldn't be able to feed all of them.
I quickly realized how stupid that was but well, I'm back at it again

Store Worker: „Would a Mr. Spock please come to the front desk? “
Spock, arriving at the desk: „Hello, is there a problem? “
Store worker: points to Kirk and McCoy
Store Worker: „I believe they belong to you? “
Kirk and McCoy, simultaneously: „We got lost :(“

New star trek show but, instead of the usual federation/starfleet premise every episode is from the point of view of several non-starfleet space explorers in where they get trapped in some bizarre situation while interacting with the federation.
Star trek is so funny cause sometimes you'll be watching an episode with srs topics that still affect our world today, and than the exact next episode is Spock getting his brain stolen.

I work retail, and yesterday I pulled up a customer's rewards account to see his name listed as "Jim Kirk."
I said, "Cool name."
"Thanks," he said. "Want to see my ID?"
He pulled out a Star Fleet identification card with a picture of Captain Kirk on it.
"My name is Jim Kirk and I'm from Iowa," he told me. "I'm invisible online."
Tos au where Spock & Bones are the devil & angel on Jim's shoulder Spock being the angel and Bones being the devil... except Spock is an enabler and Bones ends up being the only one in the group with any survival instincts.
My favorite part abt the star trek fandom especially the tos one is that as an outsider you'd see someone talk abt a plot from the show and you'd probably be like "damn what fan fic plot is this?" Only to actually watch the show and realise it was not fanon but canon..
This might be my favourite piece of star trek lore 😭😭 NOT ONLY was it Liberal arts but very SPECFIC arts...

Obsessed with the idea that Spock is considered a "bad boy" in vulcan.
I'd like a fic where kirk and the others have a Misson on vulcan and one of the crew members overhears some gossiping vulcans and than one thing leads to another and Spocks status as bad boy supreme is revealed.
Bones probably: gosh if Spock is what they consider a "bad boy" I'd hate to see what they consider a "good boy"
Meanwhile Spock is panicking cause Jim just found out how important physical touch really is to vulcans
Anyone got any good Spirk fic recs :D
The only people accusing this man of being straight are the sng writers at this point 😭
