Started watching Hyouka. I think it's pretty good so far and Horato Oreki is super dooper hot. Plus, he's lazy. Like me. And you just gotta love his motto:
See, told you he's hot.
Other people when they're sick: Ugh, this sucks, I hate this. I wouldn't wish this upon anyone.
Me when I'm sick: Fuck, God damn it! Ugh, I would wish this upon literally anyone else if it meant I wouldn't be sick right now.
Moral of the story: I'm an asshole and I don't wanna be sick.
Hot take: Presidential debates are stupid and only exist to give the internet clippable moments from candidates.
"Who won the debate?"
No one. No one won. The person who did the best was the one who people are sharing a clip of around the internet. They're a joke.
Oh my Gawd, guys, I found an A-MA-ZING fuggin video on TikTok. Now, he uses anime characters as his example but I hope everyone knows that it can be applied to any characters, Star Wars for example.
Link and video:
Also, I left a few comments on that video and if you've seen my posts, I'm sure you can guess which one I am.
This man is an amazing person and he immediately earned a like and a follow from me.
Check out the video.
Anyone wanna take a crack at it? I mean, it's only a 'normal' on the difficulty scale.
Question of the day. Y'all gotta listen up real good.
So you're driving down the road on your roof in your bedroom on July 32nd at around 9:30 pm in the morning on Christmas eve and your favorite color is doorknob but you forgot your car keys because your ankles grew ears and your pet snake broke its legs. If the square root of 69 is purple and you got frostbite cuz the moon was too hot, how many numbers of the alphabet is triangle? True or false?
Put your answers in the asks.
Please see this. Feel free to copy some of these down.
The past hurts. You can either run from it, or learn from it.
He who fears that he will suffer, already suffers because he fears.
Why should I apologize for who I am? No one ever apologized for making me this way.
Find worth in yourself before finding it in others.
Why do we close our eyes when we cry, kiss, pray, or dream? Because the most beautiful things in life are not seen, but felt by the heart.
Do not speak badly of yourself, for the warrior within will hear those words and be lessened by them.
Your words cut deep, deeper than any blade.
It takes strength to fight, but it takes a man to cry when the battle is over.
A sword wields no strength unless the hands that hold it have courage.
The most painful thing isn't a cut or a broken bone, the most painful thing is having the people you make memories with slowly become memories.
A man doesn't cry because he is weak, he cried because he has been strong for far too long.
Win in silence. Remember, a lion does not roar after a kill.
Be strong, for when life gets you down, the weak say "why me" but the strong say "try me".
The difference between a master and a novice is the master has failed more times than the novice has tried.
Light travels faster than sound. That is why some appear to be wise until you hear them speak.
Be patient. Even the sun needs time to shine at it's brightest.
Stress doesn't solve the problems of tomorrow, it only takes away the peace of today away.
It matters not what you were born as, it matters what you grow to be.
You will not be punished for your anger, you'll only be punished by your anger.
It is not bad to hit rock bottom, because the only way left to go is up.
If a wise man does not like the life he has, he creates the life he wants.
Slow down, life is to be savored.
Life is not measured by how many breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to you.
It's not the years in your life, it's the life in your years.
The saddest thing is not someone changing, it's remembering who they used to be.
Don't cry that you are getting old, feel glad that you are not old yet.
A girl breaking your heart is like her throwing a rock into the ocean, she never knows how deep it goes.
Loving someone is like giving that person a loaded gun aimed at your heart and trusting them not to pull the trigger.
Blood writes a better story than the darkest ink.
It's better to have regret than to never have tried at all.
No matter how the wind howls, the mountain cannot bow to it.
If you can't fly, then run. If you can't run, then walk. If you can't walk, then crawl. But by all means, keep moving forward.
Your training isn't over when your body gives up, it's over when your mind gives up.
You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
Blood makes you related, but loyalty....that is what makes you family.
He who waits patiently receives the biggest prize.
You cannot save a life, you can only delay death.
Every warrior eventually comes to realize that pain is inevitable but suffering is optional.
You never lose friends, you only learn who the real ones are.
I may have no honor, but you are a slave to it.
It's always "what's the dog doing", never "how's the dog doing".
Good memories are easy to identify because they are the one you remember so well.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it's called the present.
A world without pain is a world without love.
Don't cry because it ended, smile because it happened.
Love doesn't come from loving the perfect person, it comes by learning to love the imperfect person.
Love ends when the relationship ends, but true love lasts forever.
It is better to live a short life full of doing what you love, rather than a long life spent in a miserable way.
Life is hard but there is no easy way to escape your problems.
Don't cry because they are gone, be happy that they were here to make memories with.
Does anyone else find those people that recommend a show and then start badgering you about it annoying af?
Like, I have this one friend who recommended a certain anime to me and then for a little bit after that, she wouldn't stop asking if I've watched it yet. Like, sure, I recommend animes to people a lot but I don't go to them everyday afterwards and start asking if they've started watching it yet. I swear, it annoys the shit out of me. If you recommend a show to me, there's a good chance I'll watch it but don't badger me about watching it. I'll watch it when I watch it. Whenever I get around to it. The more you badger me, the less likely I am to watch it.
I recommend Bungo Stray Dogs to her (which is fucking amazing). I didn't start asking if she started it yet. I recommend watching it but watch it when you get around to it. I know a few different people who have a long list of animes they are planning on watching. I am one of those people and, while I plan on watching your recommended show, I'm not just gonna move it to the top of the list.
I ain't finna lie, Chuuya Nakahara is, in my opinion, one of the hottest characters in Bungo Stray Dogs.
"I love this ship. It's totally is canon."
Well, I support your right to ship. . . but let's be honest, it likely isn't canon.
"Yeah it is. There's official art from the studio of them in romantic situations."
No fckin way, man. . . that has to be one of the weakest arguments I've heard. Yeah, great, there's official art of them. . . but if your fcking argument is "Well, there's official art. That makes it canon," that's weak as shit. Official art is art made to promote the show. It's not necessarily canon. In fact, I dare say a lot of official art (these days, at least) doesn't capture canon events/situations. If your weak argument is official art, you then have to affirm all official art as canon. And I've seen a load of official art, not just of the show that I'm mainly referring to, right now, but of several other shows where the art depicts situations that are very obviously not canon, given the events of the show.
My brother said he was going to a country club pool with his gf (her family is part of said club) and he came into my room to tell me. Then he told me he asked her if I could come along (I didn't ask him if I could go, mind you). Anyway, anyone know what's wrong with this picture? It's not that I don't want to go but if someone invites him somewhere, I don't think it's his place to decide whether or not he can bring a guest. Or at least I feel like he shouldn't really have asked if I could come. If she was okay with me being there, she would have invited me.
Btw, I'm pretty sure she said I couldn't come which I'm not exactly upset about because I was boutta watch Naruto (Latts ain't lesbian, btw) and I can't really do that in a pool.
