Just recently played through Homicipher - it was a good game. The whole mechanic of slowly piecing together the language was really fun, and the characters are simple- but pretty cool and interesting for having dialogue hindered by a language barrier and seemingly broken speech even when largely deciphered. Mr. Gap is probably my favorite at the moment.
Though I think it says a lot about me that I immediately thought of Zack when I saw Mr. Machete- and the fact that I’m now rapidly thinking of crossover scenarios…
If they did meet- to Mr. Machete, Zack would just be a smol human, an oddly respectable one that can stab and yell funny. And Ray would just be an even smaller human. Really boring though. Shame the funny man doesn’t seem to let him stab her.
Mr Crawling would immediately make it his goal to make Ray genuinely smile/have fun as soon as he sees the dead corpse energy she exudes. But he quickly realizes that that might not be as daunting as as task he originally assumed to be as Ray is morbid as all hell, and all he needs to do is trail her for a bit before she sees something in this horrid haunted place that piques her interest and he encourages her to have fun with it. (Zack watches with a disgusted look in the corner as Ray teaches Mr. Crawling to sew dolls with her)
Of course Ray would be the one actively making an effort to understand the language - and Zack would probably reluctantly pick up a few words here and there if only from the fact that he’s forced to overhear Ray and Mr. Crawling chatting it up all the time.
Zack would hate Mr. Gap specifically with all his heart- I can feel it in my bones.
There’s literally a surprising amount to go off of as well! There’s the whole Satsuten cafe, there’s an official (?) school au out there, right? Why isn’t there more content :(
There's a extreme lack of au content and it is bad. I now know why people say this fandom is dead, au content is MANDATORY for fandom nourishment and I haven't seen any new aus for MONTHS.

Some Shin art and rambling cause THE MAN NEEDS MORE APPRECIATION. Like- he only recently got a fandom page, I think???
In my opinion, the manga could've done a lot more with him too. Seriously, his corpse furniture shtick is pretty horrifying and everything, but imagine if he was a full blown scluptor. Making absolutely disgusting statues made of twisted and mutilated bodies and cheerfully calling it art. He could have also used all sorts of materials like burnt or decayed skin, or just something like Junji Ito vibes.
Though, I don't really wanna complain all too much- so here's some headcanons!
His floor is totally art-gallery themed. Like he uses that open space where Eddie later put his graveyard to present all his art like an actual display. (he's all about that PRESENTATION) Actually, this is probably, no, definitely canon, I'm sure of it.
His floor also has like, layers. You first see his furnitures, which would be incredibly off putting on it's own, but then you go deeper into the floor... and the "art" you find gets more and more grotesque and morbid.
He just has a bunch of instant ramen stuffed in his pantry. He does consider cooking art- but he's defnitely not that proficient at it. Plus, he uses most of his time making his sculptures, and forgets to properly eat a lot. (The ramen is the only thing he eats at this point)
He has a chainsaw. Why? Because he finds it the easiest way to sever body parts for whatever twisted thing he wants to make, and also because I like to imagine a cool standoff/fight with Zack and Shin in my head- and chainsaws would be incredibly cool with that
In an au where the killers aren't in that building- he'd totally take Eddie in. Like, I imagine Eddie ran away from home and Shin just agrees to let him stay at his apartment or whatever. Eddie would help Shin come up with sculpture ideas, and vice versa with Eddie's graves. Also, Eddie now only eats instant ramen like Shin does.
The twins names are Shinjitsu and Shintaro. I'm... not sure if they're even real names, but I call them that in my head and so it's canon to me.
If I met anybody remotely similar to Zack in real life, I’d probably never want to interact with them again. Like seriously- when you really think about it he’s incredibly annoying-
Stupidly stubborn, dumb to the point it’d be an pain to explain anything generally abstract or complex, (even if he found the patience to sit through something you’re trying to explain you can just tell he only caught like 20% of it) and refuses to take care of himself to the point it’s annoying for other people- like he must smell absolutely horrendous.

Imagine an Angels of Death and a Forest of Drizzling rain crossover- I think there's like one(?) official comic about that actually, but THAT ISN'T NEARLY ENOUGH.
Just like- Suga and Zack would totally hate each other guts. I can imagine some hilarious moments where Zack just yells at Suga for shoving memos in his face- and Suga has to resort to charades or something.
Shiori and Ray would literally be such a wholesome duo as well. Ray would also get along pretty nicely with Sakuma I think.
Ray would be an absolute pro at fishing because she just is, and Zack would just scare them all off.

In all honesty Zack probably didn't know what he just did, he's just pissed.

Well, I support your right to ship. . . but let's be honest, it likely isn't canon.
"Yeah it is. There's official art from the studio of them in romantic situations."
No fckin way, man. . . that has to be one of the weakest arguments I've heard. Yeah, great, there's official art of them. . . but if your fcking argument is "Well, there's official art. That makes it canon," that's weak as shit. Official art is art made to promote the show. It's not necessarily canon. In fact, I dare say a lot of official art (these days, at least) doesn't capture canon events/situations. If your weak argument is official art, you then have to affirm all official art as canon. And I've seen a load of official art, not just of the show that I'm mainly referring to, right now, but of several other shows where the art depicts situations that are very obviously not canon, given the events of the show.
Здравствуйте, Tumblr. Been a long time since I've posted here. Okay, sit down, stand up, or lay down and listen to this weird ass dream I had last night.
Okay, so first off, FYI, apparently, we usually dream multiple times a night (one number I saw said like 4-6 times), but we forget most of them. This is just the main part of a dream I remember.
So I was with Zack Foster (from Angels of Death) for some reason, and I asked him to kill me. We found a Mauser Pistol, and he pulled the trigger point blank at the back of my head, but the bullets were loaded the wrong way, and it wouldn't fire. I forget a lot of what else happened and why he wouldn't finish the job, but then I woke up, angry that it was just a dream. I wish it was real and that he finished the job. Now I hafta go to school.
Okay, so thinking back on it, you'd think this would fall under "nightmare" or "horrible dream," but no. To my surprise, all I can think after remembering it is, "Damn, I actually kinda want somebody to shoot me in the back of the head, point blank."
I'm bored right now so if any of you want to send me asks, go ahead. Maybe about anime or really anything. Preferably not about Star Wars, tho.
Okay, just a PSA to anyone who looks at ny posts:
So over the past several months I've gotten really into anime. But anyway, I've grown pretty far apart from Star Wars, which used to be my life.
Anyway, I'd prefer my account be based around anime....well, actually, it's more accurate to say I'd rather not have it based around Star Wars. Therefore, I'm deleting most of, if not all of my Star Wars posts. And yes, that includes all of the Latts rants.
And I'm sorry to the person that gave me all of the asks for the "how would you rate this character's attractiveness" thing, but I'm deleting those too.
While I'm not gonna say sorry for the Latts rants (because I very much meant them), I'm not doing any more of them. I just don't care for Star Wars anymore (with a few exceptions (Cad Bane, Embo, maybe a few other characters)), and that includes Latts.
But yeah, basically, no more Star Wars stuff. Maybe other miscellaneous stuff but most likely no more Star Wars. I hate to say it but I'm trying to shut that small part of me off.
If I ever do post more Star Wars shit (not likely), it'll most likely be about Embo, or Bane, or some shit like that.
Anyone who reads this probably won't care but to the people who may or may not have enjoyed my Star Wars stuff, apologies. I'm more of an anime guy now.
PS- Watch Yuri!!! On Ice! It's so friggin good and they need to make a season two. Wait, "good" isn't good enough. More like....amazing, beautiful, magnificent. I should be telling my crush this. Yes. Yes. Yes. However, it's pretty gay, tho (which is one of the prime reasons I love it), and some of you might not be into that stuff but I still recommend it.
Btw, this is the Yuri!!! On Ice opening. If I could figure skate, which I wish I could, I would skate to this song. Btw, I often skip anime intros (unless it's one that I'm used to and that I like a lot) so I was several episodes in before I really gave it a listen but when I finally listened to it, I can't tell you how fast I went to iTunes. I'm hoping some of you out there who see this have watched Angels of Death so you know what I'm talking about. I'm rewatching the series and I'm almost done the first episode and Gawd Damn! Dr. Danny is such a fuckin creep. Like, were the creators going for the pedophile act with him. I mean, srsly. In future episodes, we see him as an annoying obstacle with a gun but in the first episode, my dude be putting his hands on Rachel and talking all creepy and before Zack steps in, he looks like he was boutta r@pe her. Like I said, he's such a fuckin creep.
