An An Intersex Nonbinary Person I Am Constantly Pissed Off About The New Ways There Are To Separate People

My tattoo artist told me his teenage son came out to him as trans by giving him a bunch of blue cupcakes and a greeting card that said "it's a boy!"

"That's cute," I said.

"It was NOT cute!" he snapped. "I thought he was pregnant."

It's scary to be transgender in the world right now but if you're transgender I love you and we have to stick together and keep fighting and keep living and keep loving

I know people have come up with other words for transandrophobia, but i’m digging in my heels on that term. Yall won’t ever be happy with whatever other word we try to use, because the point is you want us to shut up and not talk about our oppression. I’m not going to waste my time hopping from term to term in an attempt to please yall and get you to take me seriously.

These people act like the road to trans liberation is paved by stepping on the voices of intersex people, but if you don't care about us then you care about none of us. The same system oppressed us. Ignoring that is counteractive to any activism you try and do. There will be no liberation if we do not learn to fight for one another.

Somehow there are people on this website who can say “I’m a transfeminist” and also “it’s okay to misgender trans people if they disagree with me” and not realize they’re not really being transfeminist.

I kinda love it when bigots act like getting reported and removed from tumblr is such a betrayal and PROOF everyone on the site is out to get them, personally.

No, trust me. You tell trans women to kill themselves, you call trans men and nonbinary people cuntboys and theyfabs, all while harassing other queers you don’t like- getting your blog deleted is the kindest thing you deserve.
