Hey we all know pronouns aren't a privilege, right?
It doesn't matter how "annoying" a trans person is, it doesn't matter if they disagree with you on some intracommunity issue-
Use the pronouns they have in their bio, or the pronouns they ask you to use. Even if you really don't like them, or you think they're problematic.
Your comfort with somebody's pronouns isn't a factor. Using ANY other pronoun for a user that prefers it/its is misgendering. Same with neopronouns. If you can't manage it, don't talk to it.
Oh and just to be clear-
Claiming that a trans woman's account is actually "run by a man" is misgendering. Saying a trans man's blog is part of some "secret terf circle" is misgendering. Pretending a person is actually your oppressor in disguise so you can misgender them is, get this, misgendering!
I don't care how much you dislike someone, use the right fucking pronouns.
Oh! Apparently transandrophobes are now being very mask off with the fact that they are the same community as truscum/transmeds, 2019 exclus, and every other "grrr other queer people" group!
I don't mean any offense here, but I'm not sure it's a good idea to call this a trend? Like, 90% of my IRL friend group is transfem furries. "[Animal][Girl][Cock]" is not a discourse thing, it's a furry tgirl thing. I've seen plenty of people with usernames that follow this theme who are perfectly lovely people- more than I've seen discourse blogs that follow the theme.
I think a lot of the discourse assholes just also happen to be transfem furries. There's no strong correlation, and it's not causation. Just coincidence.
what are the trends? what are the username trends for transandrophobic posters? any specifics?
Typically [animal][girl][slang term for penis]
(Mandatory disclaimer for those lacking reading comprehension - As implied with the term "trend," this is not 100% an identifyer for transandrophobic trans women.)
The changes you get when starting T are wonderful and should be celebrated.
Don't let anyone tell you that starting T will make you ugly, unlovable, or whatever other bullshit they pull out of where they keep their head.
If you'd be happier on T, start it. ASAP.
I go to school board & city council meetings regarding trans rights, and something I noticed is that almost every single transfem student who has gone up to defend their right to use the women's lockers & bathrooms has reported being sexually assaulted in school, often multiple times, by cis men & boys.
And yet, what is taken more seriously is the single cisgender girl who went up to speak about her discomfort with trans girls in the lockers & bathrooms. Not danger. Not harm. Not trauma. Discomfort.
The cisgender girl spoke about how she was not comfortable, wheras the transgender girls spoke of how they were not safe. I am somehow supposed to believe these are of equal severity? Eat a fucking brick.
chicken jockey being the last possible 4chan post is fucking hilarious but there's so many amounts of comedic irony to it.
it's like a tyrant dying from falling over a medium sized brick wall. humiliating end.
The average woman working in the healthcare industry cannot comprehend a transgender man existing.
"If men could get pregnant, abortions wouldn't be a problem!"
"If men could get periods, all period products would be free and accessible!"

In the end it boils down to people feeling a hell of a lot more comfortable being disgustingly misogynistic towards trans men/mascs and nonbinary people because they think the fact that they don’t identify as women excludes them from it, and can easily hide behind calling you a transphobe if you call them out on it
god i love being an intersex trans woman. i love that being a woman doesn't invalidate that i'm also a man. i can be a wo/man. im glad i can be a butch woman. im glad i can be a genderqueer woman. i'm so glad to be able to express myself as a woman with a beard and deep voice. im glad i can just be a woman however i want to. women don't have to conform to any norm. women are allowed to be diverse. women are allowed to break gender expectations. women are allowed to fuck with gender. god i love womanhood. i was taught to hate it but i've learned to love it. i love being a woman
