Happy birthday to this wonderful man đ„°đđ
I have a silly little question thatâs been sitting in the back of my mind for a while.
So in the HP movies (and specifically the movies only right now), Remus told Harry that he knew his mother, Lily, and recognized him because he has her eyes. Remus also said that Lily was there for him when no one else was and saw beauty in those who couldnât see it in themselves. The way Remus was talking about her like she is the important person to him. who he missed very much. This conversation seemed to be taken by fans as âRemus and Lily were pretty close best friends.â
Then we have seen the full scene of Severusâs memories in Deathly Hallows, being childhood friends with Lily, the moment of Severus holding Lilyâs dead body while crying over her death, a conversation between him and Dumbledore with the famous lines, âafter all this time?â âAlways.â (Additionally, before these memories, we also get the like from him about Harryâs eyes). That whole thing was mostly taken by fans as he loves her in a romantic way, instead of platonic love for a friend he used to have.
So the question is, why people assume that Remus felt platonically for Lily, but Severus felt for her romantically? Why it wasnât the other way around, since Remus was first to talk about Lily before the whole reveal about her friendship with Severus? Why Remusâs friendship with her wasnât romanticized like with Severus? Or why werenât both friendships taken purely platonic?
Maybe I am missing something. I would really like to know what yaâll think, Iâm curious.
sadly no fanart today but
Happy birthday to our the most beloved ginger boy đ„°đđđ đŸđ·â€ïž
Asagiri found out that we noticed he blows up kids in bsd very often, so he decided to come up with something new.
Making them new Dazais.
Deadpool & Wolverine movie was so awesome
Really enjoyed the say gex scene
Okay, I know that people probably started to talk about it already, but I just canât stop thinking about it.
Itâs about the whole âDazai left Sigma behindâ thing.
Dazai didnât forget about Sigma. That would be a very weird and bitch move from him if he would. After all, Dazai was really keeping his promise about taking Sigma out of prison alive, which he was doing. I mean, Dazai literally had a reason why he took Sigma with him, so they wonât get killed by Fyodor and Nikolai. He helped them to not drown under the water and also saved them from falling down an elevator. Plus, Dazai is trying to become a better person, and help people, which he was doing during the series (even though he was annoying at times and he was doing some horrible things in the past. He even himself thinks, that all this stuff doesnât suit him at all. But heâs trying to become a better person and help people, mostly because Oda was the one who told him to do so. Seriously, if it wasnât Oda, Dazai would still be stuck in Mafia.) It would make sense for him to leave someone who was a person that was doing a horrible actions behind, he wouldnât care about that person at all. But he wouldnât leave people he cares about behind. Even though he and Sigma knew each other for only a day (well, less than a day), Dazai still wouldnât leave them behind, because again, he made a promise, and because Dazai wants to help this who are good, those who need help.
I think the reason why we didnât see Dazai and Chuuya have Sigmaâs body with them, is because they had to get an antidote and also finally put an end to Fyodor. It would make more sense, since they didnât have much time to try to find Sigma (especially when they might be on the floor which is far away from them.) The only time they had is to only to put a splint on Dazaiâs leg and thatâs it. If they would go look for Sigma, it would take a little longer and Dazai wouldâve (for real) die from the poison.
Maybe Iâm being too hopeful, but itâs just feels wrong for Dazai to leave Sigma behind. There is possibility, that he could maybe think that Sigma had escaped the prison and is safe now, but thatâs only a maybe.
I just donât want Dazai to end up looking like another person who manipulated and used Sigma, but only this time at the end is being like, âoh? You got that info on a Russian rat that I needed? Yeah uhâŠI kinda donât really need anymore. Sorry :Dâ
The other thing I think, is that if Sigma is being unconscious and will never wake, that would be a very fucked up. It would just feel like Sigma was wasted as a character, without fulfilled goals, having a character development, and getting a better ending. (Okay, Iâm being a little too hopeful again when it comes to a good ending, but they deserve a good ending, okay.) Even though Sigmaâs information on Fyodor wonât be used anymore (but who knows, it might become useful causeâŠyou knowâŠmaybe some characters might raise from the dead out of nowhere..), still, it doesnât mean that their arc should end there. Being unconscious in the prison in Europe which is somewhere in the middle of the fucking ocean.
Its also not really in bsd style to forget about certain relationships with character, and also waste it and characters, or every detail that shows up even for a few seconds. After all, all the things are connected to each in some way in the story. So Iâm pretty sure that Sigma will still have their story being continued. Thereâs still some things that are not answered about his character, like who wrote them down on the book and why, what will they do now and how they will continue develop as a character.
So conclusion isâŠ.Dazai and Chuuya will pick up Sigma and they all three will come back to Yokohama.
(Wonder how long will it take, since there will be another bullshit thatâll happen 2 hours later.)
