father of three, writing to you from the devastated heart of Gaza. Our home was completely destroyed in the recent bombings, and we were forced to flee to the south. Now, we are living in unbearable conditions without access to basic necessities.
The situation is especially critical for my son, who suffers from hepatitis. His condition worsens by the day, and the treatment he needs is not available here. His only hope lies in receiving medical care outside of Gaza.
My wife Dina is also in urgent need of help. She is pregnant and suffering from preeclampsia, a life-threatening condition that requires specialized medical attention and a cesarean section. Unfortunately, the hospitals here lack the necessary facilities and resources. I fear for her life and the life of our unborn child because of the severe shortages of medical care, clean food, water, and a safe place to stay.
Adding to our hardship, my 13-year-old son and I were recently captured and tortured for a month. While I still bear the physical scars, my son is deeply traumatized by the experience.
I humbly ask for your help to evacuate my family from Gaza through the Rafah border crossing. We urgently need to relocate to a place where we can access life-saving medical care and a chance at safety.

Everyone knows what we live in Gaza, and before the day of Eid, I published a blog post about my family being exposed to shrapnel falling on our tents, and I was injured by these shrapnel, and Allah wrote a new life, as a shrapnel entered my back, next to the spine, by a few cents. If it had pierced my back and hit the spine, my injury would have been serious.
The Israeli enemy media publishes in its Hebrew news and newspapers that it is close to withdrawing from the Rafah area and the end of the military operation there. This is an indication that the crossings may be opened and restored, and here, if we intensify the efforts and collect the travel price for my entire family, we will move to a safer place.
Please, my friends, watch the previous post, and watch the video posted of my family, with shrapnel falling on our tents, and my disabled brother and our children appear, screaming and saying, “Shrapnel is falling on us.”

In one corner of Gaza, drowning in destruction and echoing with suffering, sat Umm Saleh, a woman in her fifties, beside her modest tent hastily erected after losing her home in the latest bombardment. Her face told stories of patience and resilience, with lines of time etched on it as if they were records of unforgettable events.
Umm Saleh, who once lived in a small house filled with the voices of her children, now bore witness to the agony of displacement. She was forced to flee with her children after a shell hit their home, leaving behind years of memories and simple belongings she never imagined would become unattainable.
Every morning, Umm Saleh leaves her tent in search of sustenance to feed her children. She goes to bakeries providing aid, waiting for hours under Gaza’s scorching sun. Despite the exhaustion that weighs down her frail body, she carries the bread, dampened with her tears, and returns with a fake smile that conceals the worries of a mother striving to protect the remnants of her family.
At night, when everyone else is asleep, Umm Saleh remains seated at the entrance of the tent, gazing at the dark sky. She reminisces about the days gone by, about her home that was once filled with warmth, and about her elderly, ailing husband of 70 years. Despite the pain, she finds remnants of hope in her heart—a hope for a day when peace will return and her children and grandchildren will live in a new home brimming with joy.
In moments of solitude, Umm Saleh finds solace in prayer and supplication. She implores God to protect Gaza and its people and to wipe away the dust of sorrow from everyone’s hearts. She often repeats, "We are here to remind the world that we are stronger than war, and we will rebuild our lives anew, no matter the cost."
Umm Saleh is not just a displaced woman but a symbol of patience and strength in the face of harsh circumstances. Her story, like the stories of thousands of mothers in Gaza, embodies the continuous struggle for life in a land torn apart by war, yet still blossoming with hope.

prices for the simplest items in North Gaza can fluctuate wildly, if they are available at all.
my friend Firas @firasmuhaisenn and his sister Nisreen are two first-year medical students who went to study in Egypt before the genocide started. their family is stuck in North Gaza and lost their source of income. i have posted about them extensively here Firas and Nisreen must not only pay for rent, food and necessities for themselves in Egypt, but they also have to make sure their family survives and has enough to eat.

My name is Ibrahim Youssef Hamad. I once had a home, but it was completely destroyed. I had big dreams and hopes for the future, longing for stability and a sense of security to protect myself and my family from harm. Unfortunately, none of that was realized, and now we are suffering in every possible way. We face hunger, malnutrition, poor living conditions, and a severe lack of medicine, food, and even basic necessities. Sadly, there is no one left to take care of us, and hope has faded away. You are our only hope.

My name is Ibrahim Hamad, and I live with my wife and our four children in Gaza. We have endured tremendous suffering due to the bloody war imposed on us, losing dear family and friends members. We have been displaced multiple times searching and seeking safety and secure , now we find ourselves living in a tent on the street without healthy food or water after our house was completely destroyed by bombing , in addition I have lost my small business after the warplane destroyed the store .
We appeal to you for support during this difficult time. We are in desperate need of your help to rebuild our home and restart a small source of income to support my family . I believe that generosity knows no bounds, and compassionate hearts can make a significant difference.
