friendly reminder i posted some opens last night!

it's interesting to me that chloe's new model is depicted with even more bee imagery, despite her no longer being the holder of the bee miraculous. i don't believe for a second that asstruck put any forethought into a redemption arc since he's been drinking that chloe haterade from the beginning; but, i personally just like to believe chloe is so deep in denial at the moment about losing everyone and everything that she is literally grasping at straws to cling to her old, spoiled life.

i was saying to cece a few days ago, it's very telling that the short clip we see of chloe, she's trying to find a new minion and appears to be entirely alone in the video. i want to believe this is insight into chloe being isolated and proof that she 1) hasn't made any efforts towards change and 2) hasn't made any new friends in london because of it. because if she wanted to actually rub it in that she was so much better off, why not show off all her new friends?

she can't. because she doesn't have any.

but again, i don't trust asstruck or his ability to make chloe anything other than the bully or the villain.

so anyways, in light of the shadyclaw special, i will be ignoring astr*c's haterade for chloe. reverse!chloe is, in fact, part of the resistance and the reason reverse!marinette claims that chloe ruined her life/made her miserable/etc wasn't because she was a bully but because she continued to extend the hand of friendship even when marinette, herself, didn't feel she deserved it. also this fanart is how i picture reverse!chloe.

thinking about chloe performing as clara in the nutcracker. thinking about her parents being too busy to show up. thinking about how chloe expects that no one familiar will be in the audience. and then the curtain opens up and beyond the stage lights she can see the outlines of her classmates sitting there all watching her and maybe she gets a little emotional and cries a little after the show but if anyone mentions it she will deny it to her grave.
