#𝐉𝐀𝐔𝐍𝐄𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐒 is an independent and private roleplay blog for 𝘾𝙃𝙇𝙊𝙀 𝘽𝙊𝙐𝙍𝙂𝙀𝙊𝙄𝙎 of zagtoon's miraculous ladybug franchise. written by fae. if you could give this post a ♡ or ↺ to help me find people to interact with, i'd really appreciate it!
𝙋𝙇𝘼𝙂𝙂, 𝘾𝙇𝘼𝙒𝙎 𝙊𝙐𝙏! It's a good thing cats are known for landing on their feet because I can already see myself falling for you. How do you feel about cat-tastic feline puns from a pretty rad super hero? You've come to the right place!
There will be some point in the future when I actually make a fancy promo but for the time being please consider checking me out and giving a follow if you're interested in writing with a fully revamped Chat Noir / Adrien Agreste roleplay blog!
❝ You should tell him, you know, ❞ Marinette says, not looking up from the baking pan where she's very carefully squeezing batter from a pastry bag for the fourth of the six batches of macarons she's been baking for the class Christmas party. She'd invited Chloe over to help—and she had, for all of one batch, which Marinette calls a win—and now that they're a little over the half-way point and there's no risk of any baking mishaps, it feels like a safe time to broach the topic. ❝ Luka, I mean. He probably already knows, but... you should tell him anyway. That you like him. I think that would mean more to him than anything you could buy him. ❞

𝐂𝐇𝐋𝐎𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐒𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐋𝐘 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐘 𝐀𝐓 𝐀 𝐁𝐀𝐆 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐏𝐒. More than once, Marinette had smacked her hand away from the bag. An effort in futility. Chloé's response had been a simple 'I'm checking the bag for freshness!' as if the bag wasn't half empty already. Otherwise, the atmosphere was remarkably uneventful. It was a record for the Chloé's Redemption book. She's popping yet another chip into her mouth when Marinette speaks her third worst fear into existence.
The blonde immediately chokes.
❝ What are you talking about, Marin—ette? ❞ The accusation comes as soon as she recovers. The shock is so apparent, she nearly reverts to calling her Marinella and just barely catches herself. Her face has gone red from embarrassment. ❝ What, in all of France, makes you think I like Luka Couffaine? ❞
She doesn't know what is worse — that Marinette is spot-on ( ha ) with her intuition, or that she'd been so careless in hiding it, that the girl could tell. Marinette. This is the girl who made her crush on Adrien so painfully obvious it was a wonder how the model hadn't picked up on it yet himself when the rest of Paris had. He was so dense. And Marinette was so embarrassing.
They were perfect for each other.
Chloé laughs, a little more unkind than she'd meant to. She's just mad at herself for letting her tells slip. ❝ That's rich coming from you. Have you told Adrien yet? ❞ Maybe if she can deflect this back on Marinette, they can forget about this whole thing and stop talking about it.
" I thought I told you that I don't need your help! " his tone is sharp, like a knife slicing through as he takes a defensive step back before turning his attention towards....anything else that wasn't her. " You're wasting your time, I know you're here because of your old man and mine, so you can quit while you're ahead. " / REVERSE ADRIEN TO REVERSE CHLOE LET'S GO

𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐂𝐊 𝐅𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐀𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍. Her hand, which had reached out to grab his own, hovers in the air before slowly dropping back to her side. Chloé bites her lip, feeling the sting of tears prickle at the corners of her eyes. But she won't cry. The last thing Adrien needs right now is her crying, even if it feels like he's drifting further and further away from her. Out of reach.
They used to be so close when they were little. She doesn't know what happened. Maybe the chasm had started opening after his mother died. Chloé couldn't pinpoint an exact time when things changed, but now it felt like an impossible stretch of distance laid between them — a distance she didn't know how to bridge, not when she didn't know what was bothering him.
If only she had reached out sooner. If only she had paid more attention!
❝ Adrien... ❞ Her voice is uncharacteristically quiet. ❝ I'm not here because of my father, or your father, or anyone else. I'm here because I'm your friend. I'm worried about you! ❞
wow i can't believe baby sabrina and baby chloe are in the new leo movie coming to netflix

I don't need anyone! she had screeched.
𝐂𝐇𝐋𝐎𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐘 𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐓 𝐇𝐄𝐑; like she was something worthy to be looked at, rather than like some villain out of a Saturday morning cartoon. In all her desperate attempts to maintain control, she'd pushed it too far and almost lost everything. As it was, Sabrina barely acknowledged her and Adrien wouldn't return any of her calls. Even her father was threatening to send her to a boarding school in London. Left with no friends and a tattered reputation, Chloe had hit her lowest point and didn't know how to claw her way out of the hole she had dug herself into.
As if that wasn't bad enough, Luka had caught her in a vulnerable moment where frustrated tears had sprung forth and overflowed. She had expected him to laugh at her, maybe tell her she deserved every bit of karma that came her way. He would have been right — a bitter thought that came to mind. But he didn't. Perhaps worse than that, he took up the space next to her on the bench and offered to hear her out. Like it was easy. Like they were actually friends.
Chloe threw herself from the bench as if she'd been electrocuted, manicured nails biting into her palms until she could feel the skin tear, screeching at him to leave her alone. She didn't need him. She didn't need anyone.
You're not a very convincing liar, he'd said.
He was so calm about it, so earnest that it actually made Chloe quiet. She stared at him for a long moment before her eyes narrowed into suspicion.
❝ Why are you here? What do you want, Luka? ❞
This post contains a collection of screencaps from the MLB movie for roleplay graphic purposes for any who might need resources for icons, themes, promos, banners, etc.!
These icons have been sorted by character and each folder contains every scene that character was featured in. All characters who had a prominent presence in the movie are listed here! Unfortunately, background characters (such as classmates) are not included.
If you plan on downloading screencaps for multiple characters, be warned that you will be downloading duplicate screencaps. When sorting the caps, I duplicated them based off of who was in the frame. What this means is that, for example, if you were to download both Alya and Nino's screencaps, you would find that both folders have a lot of the same screencaps. This is because they were in a lot of scenes together!
All screencap folders are 3GB or less, with the exception of Gabriel whose folder is 3.3GB. The folders have been packed in .rar format, so you will need a program like WinRAR or 7zip to extract them.
Great! Where are the caps?
Right here, below the cut!
Adrien
Alya
Chloé
Gabriel
Marinette
Master Fu
Nathalie
Nino
Nooroo
Plagg
Sabine
Sabrina
Tikki
Tom
Cece, I tried to download part 1 of LB/CN's caps and extract them but it didn't work! What gives?
Adrien and Marinette's folders are a bit unique. Adrien's total folder size is 12GB and Marinette's total folder size is 20.5GB. These files are massive, so to make uploading and downloading easier, the folder has been split into multiple 3GB (or less) .part files.
You must download all parts first (ie. all 7 of Marinette's parts), highlight all of them so they're all selected, and then right click and extract them.
Cece, my antivirus says this folder contains a virus!
In the extremely unlikely case this happens, it's a false positive! You're welcome to run the folder(s) through virustotal to be safe, though.
i realized the other day that i haven’t really talked all that much about the last handful of episodes of season 5 and haven’t really touched on the ending of chloe’s story at all. and i really only see people who are upset about it talk about her last few scenes so i do want to offer an alternative take on it, which is basically: to me, chloe’s story ended in tragedy. i don’t really care what astruc has said on twitter or what was leaked in bibles or scripts. i’m looking at the story we actually got, the one that ended with this moment.
does marinette tell her off right before this? yes. and this should be a moment of victory for marinette, right? she’s finally free from chloe, in every way.
but we don’t see marinette after this. this is the last shot of marinette in the episode before it cuts to chloe’s reaction. marinette’s face is still there, but only as the contact image on chloe’s phone. marinette herself is gone. the rest of the episode only shows us chloe and lila. from here on out, we are not in marinette’s story. we’re in theirs.
and it’s here, when we move out of marinette’s story, that we see chloe’s is tragedy. chloe is the villain in marinette’s story and the victim in her own. this is not just about protagonist centered morality, though that plays a role. it’s about not just whose side the story takes but also what marinette is allowed to know and see. marinette only ever gets the smallest glimpse of chloe’s home life and family, but as the viewers we get to see more. and it is after marinette dismisses her and hangs up in revolution that chloe stops being a part of marinette’s story, and, in that moment, loses the role of the villain. freed from marinette’s story, we see her alone, sobbing, because she’s left with only her own story, where she is the victim.
and it’s notable that chloe tried to reject that story. she chooses marinette’s story, again and again. that’s why she called marinette in the end. chloe would rather play the villain. calling sabrina, asking for comfort, would be accepting that she’s a victim, which chloe isn’t ready for. unfortunately, marinette doesn’t give her a choice: marinette’s story doesn’t have room for chloe anymore. she’s fought her demons and has new ones to face. the only role left for chloe to play in marinette’s story is the girl ladybug couldn’t save.
so yeah, this ending is tragic. and i genuinely hurt for chloe in that moment. but i never once thought we were supposed to see her as unredeemable or celebrate her being sent off to her mother. i don’t know what the story plans to do with chloe next - whether she’s gone for good or she’ll come back worse or come back better. but i know this moment, by taking us out of marinette’s perspective, asked us to sympathize with a girl suffering at the end of her downward spiral.
