(PS: really sorry if any other got left out, I was writing these on top of my head so I don't know if there's more. Feel free to comment if you know any other siblings/sibling-ish dynamic I left out!)

After Bunny's death: Richard decides to say his internal monologue aloud (this is not a passage from the book)
Richard: "The view of the red blood mixing in with the soil shows how one's sins taint the purity of life. Bunny falls to his death in the beautiful light of the dusk, as his friends are celebrating one day well spent, he lays in between rocks and the broken bottle of wine, to show the morbid display of the youth of today. What a great life he could have had if not to commit treason against the people who trusted him. And what irony is it that he is pushed to his death by the same people who he had spent hours beside as a friend. That is the biggest truth of life, for its unpredictability is what makes life far more terrifying than death itself. The soil has become red with Bunny's blood; the wind blows, snow has started to fall to bury the remains of one cheery, smiling boy. What a beautiful sight it is to see someone die in front of you, it shows how aesthetics remain even in death"
Camilla, Charles and Francis: What the fuck Richard? 😶😶😶
Henry: *gives an approving nod* that is exactly what I was thinking, you took words from my mouth.
(PS: Richard's unhinged monologues give me life every time I read TSH. Also I believe Richard and Henry have a spiritual connection)
Things I have said or done as an INTP:
~ "It's not like I hate talking, you are just so boring. I don't even remember what you said two seconds ago. That's how unremarkable you are. So, it's not a ME problem, it's a YOU problem"
~ "I forgot to eat breakfast and lunch"
~ "Do I really need to wish someone their birthday? Do y'all like getting old?"
~ "Whenever I feel awkward, I imagine brutal ways to kill people"
~ "What do you mean I can't order from the kids menu? I eat like five things in my life"
~ "Sometimes I put on earphones just to avoid people"
~ "The T.V remote was too far away so I stared at the wall for five hours"
~ "I don't have enough energy to correct you right now, call me later"
~ *person says* "Hey, how are you?"
*ME* "Nice to meet you my name is just fine....wait"
~ "I am willing to die proving a point"
~ "I am not gonna study. What's the worst thing that happens? I fail. It's not like I am dying. I won't mind that either"
~ "I gave up on life when I was 11. The best decision I ever made"
~ "I am not sorry for coming late. I feel sorry that I came"
~ "I will touch grass when I am in the coffin"
~ "Well actually, everything you said was opinions, not facts. I don't care about how you feel, if you don't care about what I think"
~ "I pity how dumb you are"
The reason I always thought there was something more to Camilla than what we read is because the book is from the perspective of Richard who was supposed to be in love with her.
I always got some unsettling energy from the twins, they were just too perfect at the start. By the end of the 2nd part it had changed when Charles showed his real colours. But Camilla throughout the story remained the only person to not have a flip of personality. Francis sheds off his "too cool for you" persona and becomes close with Richard. Henry....well Henry after killing Bunny stops functioning a little. Even Julian is no long the John Keating of the story but a normal person who as soon as found out his students killed two people, left them alone (what would you have done in that situation?)
I thought it was strange that Camilla never became anything more than a girl Richard liked, and later connected with Henry and Charles. I wished so much more for the character to be than that. And after the reveal of her and Henry's relationship (after Henry orchestrated Bunny's murder) I felt like Camilla has a dark side that Richard just ignored to portray her as the best of them. She seemed to be hiding something all the time.
I don't think she is a bad person, not at all. I think she has a more complex personality than being the goddess of a person Richard portrayed her to be. The amount of abuse she went through since childhood must have had some effect on her as a person. She didn't really deserved any of the guys. I wished in the end she would have just said "Stop!" And left all of them.
I would have liked to know more about Camilla, we don't get any insight to her at all, which made her not really my favourite character (especially during my first time reading when I was waiting for her to change a bit like everyone else)
I watched Persuasion (2022) and can't BELIEVE how terrible it was. Like I heard it was bad. But I never thought I would get so much cringe from a Jane Austen movie.....
As if writers actually think gen Z won't understand Jane Austen's writing.
The reason we read Jane Austen is to read lines like
"You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope. Tell me not that I am too late, that such precious feelings are gone for ever. I offer myself to you again with a heart even more your own than when you almost broke it, eight years and a half ago. Dare not say that man forgets sooner than woman, that his love has an earlier death. I have loved none but you"
Have I memorised that....YES!!!
Persuasion (2022) tried to be the next Emma (2020) but became Bridgerton.
Re-watched and Re-read Death Note so...
As someone who is preparing for a career in law this will be rather interesting.
I know Misa and Mikami are Kira supporters but their own sense of Justice is different from Light's. Mikami is way more intense in punishing criminals and Misa does not care about Justice except for the fact it punished the criminals who killed her parents; she only punishes criminals for Light's attention.
Ryuk and L are more on the neutral side as in they either do not have any interest in justice or only care about having fun and not being bored. That's why Ryuk dropped the death note out of boredom and L solves cases when it's of personal intrigue to him, he is mostly morally grey.
The rest of the characters have their own unique sense of Justice (or the lack thereof).
(Have not read LA: BB case, I have no idea what BB is like except he is like the Lawlight lovechild)
Edit: LIGHT AND L BOTH WON WTF, IS THIS REAL? I LOVE THIS, THAT'S SO TRUE TO THE SERIES
*inserts Light and L saying "I am Justice" together*
How I wish it had gone:
Richard: you know, smoking is bad for you....
Francis: shut the fuck up, bitch. I KNOW SMOKING IS BAD FOR HEALTH. Thanks to you keep reminding me that. Henry fucking killed Bunny and all you care about is if I have lung cancer, you douchebag????
Camilla: Francis, it's okay...
Richard: I was just saying....
Francis: You have no problem with the amount of alcohol we consume on daily? We are all alcoholics, take drugs and murder people!
Charles: shhh...
Henry:........can anyone stop him please, I am getting a headache.
Francis: I just have a lot of feelings.
Julian: so you killed two people?
Henry: you can justify anything, if you do it poetically enough
Francis *wishpers*: wrong fandom Henry.
As the winter approaches I think back to the time Richard Papen tried to stay without a heater or proper roof at the hippie's house during the cold winter of Vermont.
If that isn't peak Californian behaviour, I don't know what is.
Also, the irony of Richard being saved by Henry WINTER is so funny.
Henry was so nice to him during this time because he was trying to indoctrinate Richard into their group further, before revealing the murder they all did and getting him in their side instead of Bunny's. Although my heart wants it to be a genuine friendship between the two. Richard was never truly friends with them, at the least not with Henry. He was used by Henry again and again, whether it be doing small chores, keeping secrets, trying to frame Richard with the poisonous mushrooms and so on.
Richard was fucked the moment he stumbled upon the twins, Bunny and Henry in the library.
Bunny dressed up as Santa and gave Francis, Henry, Charles and Camilla handcuffs (Richard wondered what exactly was it's purpose, kinky or metaphorical)
Camilla and Henry baked a Rum and Champagne flavoured cake
Richard dug snow for two hours in front of Dr. Roland's office and tricked him into getting 1k for it. (He then spent all of it in expensive gifts for the other four and Julian)
Francis watched old movies while drinking and smoking from dawn to dusk
Charles and Camilla made a snowman outside their house
Bunny and Henry had a fun (& angry) snowball fight
Camilla and Richard went to the Christmas market to buy goodies
Judy Poovey gave Richard a nice suit for the party and let him keep it (Judy! Bless her!)
Richard dropped by Francis's and had a lunch consisting of only drinking (and a Maraschino cherry or two)
Henry gave Richard his old books as a gift ("I am sorry I didn't have time to buy something better" "Henry....these are first edition copies! Isn't this enough?" "But it's second handed" "FIRST EDITION COPIES!")
Julian threw a big party for the class and invited his famous friends to it (Richard was wrecked when some Californians asked him about his dad's oil business)
Bunny kept asking Richard why his gifts were so "cheap". Henry and Francis were burning with rage
Henry doesn't like the holiday season but obliged to go to only Julian's party
Charles got wasted and slept in Julian's bathroom (you know how mad Henry would be at him for that)
Bunny took a lot of pictures of Charles in a bathtub wearing a Santa hat for their New Year's greeting crads
Francis and Camilla went home together to watch Christmas movies
Bunny and Richard carried Charles home (Henry was apologising to Julian, who thought passing out drunk is the holiday spirit)
Then all of the gang played charades together (Camilla won, Francis was second, Bunny and Richard were okay and Henry lost by a landslide. Charles was sleeping on the couch humming "Jingle bells")
