AMBROSIA BAKED CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

AMBROSIA BAKED CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

I want to dedicate this recipe to one of my good friends, who is no longer here to see it. I just want you to know, I miss you greatly.

Her favorite movie growing up was Percy Jackson. She talked about how Percy Jackson would drink Ambrosia and for him it tasted like warm chocolate chip cookies that his mother used to make him.

She always suggested me to do a recipe on it for my blog, when I first started it.

Even though she will never see this, I’m sure she would have loved this recipe. I can firmly say this recipe is made with every piece of love in my heart imaginable.

Please enjoy…

Ingredients

3 ½ cups flour

½ cup browned butter

½ cup softened butter

½ tsp sea salt

1 tbsp vanilla extract

1 ½ cup brown sugar

½ tsp expresso powder

2 large egg

½ bag milk chocolate chips

1 bar chopped chocolate

1 tsp baking soda

¼ cup condensed milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 F.

On a stove brown your butter and remove from heat to cool. Cream your softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Now cream in your browned butter. Beat in egg, vanilla extract, and condensed milk.

Add and mix in all your dry ingredients until just incorporated. Fold in chocolate and scoop cookies into even balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Put it in the fridge 1 hour to overnight before baking.

Bake for 8-15 minutes, or until golden brown and completely cooked.

Please enjoy these cookies! And remember to cherish the ones you love the most!

True death is when a person can love no more, so long as you can love, the person will stay alive, in your memory.

Respect and campaign for the ocean.

Promote awareness of the dangers of swimming in the ocean and respect for the flag system.

Be nice to seagulls and give them little treats of my own food.

7 Virtues of Hellenism.

Xenia - This is the pillar that signifies hospitality, generosity and reciprocity. It's typically demonstrated in a guest/host dynamic.

Kharis - This is the pillar that signifies appreciation and gratitude. It entails giving to the gods and and expressing gratitude when you receive something from them.

Eusebia - This is the pillar that signifies reverence and veneration towards the gods. It can be translated to 'piety' or 'reverant conduct' meaning that you show respect for them.

Hagneia - This is the pillar that signifies purifying yourself. It entails having moral, perhaps physical too, purity and avoiding miasma where possible.

Arete - This is the pillar that signifies excellence and brilliance. It entails trying to reach your highest potential and this can be in any field.

Sophia - This is the pillar that signifies the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom.

Sophrosyne - This is the pillar that signifies self-control and prudence. It involves being of sound mind and remaining balanced, which can further lead to other positive qualities to have.

I hope these are right and that I didn't misunderstand their meanings! Hopefully this is useful to anyone, I certainly enjoyed making the post!

˚⊹ᡣ𐭩 Respect ♡ˊˎ-

I haven’t been working with the gods for long, so this probably isn’t my place to say this, but seeing young people on TikTok treat the gods as their bestie after a week and being disrespectful to them makes my blood boil.

“I called Apollo a man-whore and he got mad🤪”

YOU DID WHAT.

OF COURSE HE GOT MAD, WHAT WAS THE THOUGHT BEHIND THIS???

I get it. The Greek gods are quite forgiving and can even be quite funny! I’ve experienced it first hand! Especially Apollon and Hermes are usually in for a joke.

But you can still be respectful.

I am clairvoyant, I can hear the gods, and I am not exaggerating when I tell you at least 5 of them have told me “wow, you are so respectful and speak so politely.” They were not surprised, perse, but they were so appreciative of it.

Of course dynamics can change over time. Things become looser and more chill. Sometimes it becomes paternal, or even loving, and then you can become a little less formal. But you can still. Be. Respectful. There is no reason not to be.

I do not wish to speak for the gods here, so please don’t take it as such, but I expected this to be common sense and it apparently is not.

I’m also very open to hear your thoughts, so feel very free to share them! Especially if you disagree, honestly, I am always open to try and see things from a different perspective!

Tide Spells

mer interruption: the following is an excerpt from one of my favourite books. Please remember to treat the sea with respect and do not leave anything behind that was not originally from the sands and sea.

Tide Spells

High Tide Spell

The high tide spell is a short, sharp piece of operative magic that you can use when something needs to be done quickly. It works best at spring tides when the tidal and lunar powers are at their peak. It is used to attract something that is urgently needed, or to make something positive happen. It is a very short spell that carries a strong sense of urgency. The spell is written using a very brief form of words in the sand or shingle as the tide is rising and just before it reaches its peak, just above the tideline. As the spell is written, the magical will is concentrated on the spell succeeding. The witch then watches until the sea has washed the spell away and the work is done.

Tide Spells

Low Tide Spell

A similar spell is worked at low tide to banish or remove something. Again, the power of this spell is very quick and concentrated; it is worked in a few minutes and sent on its way. As with the high tide spell, words are written in the sand just as the tide turns, but this time at the very lowest point of the tide, so that as it begins its climb up the shore whatever you need to banish is taken by the sea. As soon as the words have gone under the water, the spell is done. For both these spells, use as few words as possible; you could even just use initial letters. Concentrate hard on your objective as you write them into the sand then let it go so that the tide can do its work.
