Found in my mother's freezer... What do you think might be inside??
they may be doomed by the narrative but atleast they had gay sex
i had a 4 hour drive today so i put on the revenge of the sith audiobook and the part where palpatine tells anakin to kill dooku came on right around the time that i saw a cybertruck and for a brief and beautiful moment when he said "do it" i had the urge to ram my honda full on into that shitty ass car
i don’t know how some of you can go “well naboo ALWAYS elected teen girls to rule them, it’s tradition!” then just leave it at that. like i think there’s a lot to interrogate here lmao
Sorry not sorry to make this about star wars, but this is exactly where I think star wars fails with Padme! The way she never shows up, is barely mentioned after her death, despite how much she affected the galaxy, both positively and negatively! They treat her like she only haunts Vader and maybe obi-wan, and that's not true. She haunts the narrative, and that's a whole different thing. We should clearly see the ghost of her legacy in every damn movie, but instead I just get glimpses so vague I wonder if I'm imagining it...
I love how Suguru is like the queen of haunting the narrative. His relationship to Satoru affects and directs him constantly. Jujutsu high's failure of him affects every single character from Yaga and Shoko to second years. Not to mention his literal dead body being taken over to shape the narrative.
It's amazing how he's dead from beginning to the end and is still present every moment of the story.
padme saying “i don’t know you anymore” the key to it all maybe..she’s fought with anakin before, she’s witnessed him do terrible things, but she’s never felt like she didn’t know him. their backstories parallel each other, they both had stolen childhoods, padme would’ve felt like anakin was one of the few people in the galaxy who could understand her—and in turn, she one of the few who could understand him. her “i don’t know you anymore” comes with an implied “and you must not have known me as as well as i thought, because this isn’t what i want.” she’s mourning the loss of her first (and really, only) real connection to another human in that scene. is it a little fucked for her prioritize that connection over the suffering of others? well yes . but also very romantic ...
I used to be haunted by demons but now I have train pattern bedsheets
"Nice characters are boring" to YOU. I love characters who no matter what, will always have genuine love for humanity in their heart. Characters who dance and laugh and sing with sincerity. Characters who believe in others, and are willing to extend a helping hand to people when no one gave them the same luxury. Characters who have gone through so much but believe, no matter what, that humanity and life is something beautiful and worth protecting
he consumes my every waking thought and most of the sleeping ones too
