Reasons I Want A Boyfriend (im Aromantic And All Of These Things Can Be Done W Close Friends Or A Qpr)

I am both at the same time.

There are two types of writers:

1. 'It's fiction, it doesn't need to make sense!'

2. 'I didn't account for the rotation of the planet and how that affects the constalations while my characters stargazed at different times of year, I have failed as a writer, and this entire thing is trash'

How I thought writing would go: You're in control of your story. You are the puppet master! You control these characters, what they do, what they say, what they think. This world is yours, do as you please.

How it's going: my characters stopped listening to me, and now I'm 6485746 words into a plot that went off the rails on page 4.

Whenever I go out and actually talk to new people or decide to watch new series or films I rediscover how important romance and sex are in our society and my mind is blown once again

We had the Lorax of Piltover playing a ukulele in Zaun's square. I'm still not over it. Heimerdinger was out in the streets singing (a really cute song btw. I liked it) while Jayce was trapped in Silent Hill hallucinating his girlfriend and his boyfriend.

Not the normal togachako, fanfic, or music posts I spam by blog with but little aro rant time:

I think you either get to be one of those aromantic people who end up falling in love, or you get to be the one who's sitting there, trying to be happy while your friend talks about getting married, and all you can think is "I might lose them." You try to be happy, because marriage is happy; it's supposed to be happy. They love each other, it's a great thing, but what about you? You're making it about yourself now--their marriage, a plan for the future, something that won't happen for a long while, doesn't involve you, but you're sitting there, trying not to cry, and they're /so/ happy sounding. And it's only made worse because they're inviting you, because you're friends and they're aro too and they might understand this, but you can't find it in your heart to tell them, instead you yell into the tumblr void, because what if they think you're just being selfish and controlling and toxic and you don't want that, you don't want to end this friendship because talking to them is so fun.

I will be listening to Will Wood and directing these feelings into a togachako fic if anyone needs me lol

Romance is so damn weird??

Like, you're telling me two (or more) people can see each other and have the same chemical response in their bodies happen at the same time? Like, love at first sight, right?
