After having completed AC6, my opinions are... mixed, unfortunately. Still, as the first time I've ever put actual effort into an emblem in an Armored Core game, I'm happy to present: The Sun from OneShot!

I think my dream career would be lying under the reactor of a spaceship and rapidly splicing cables with my teeth while we're narrowly escaping a pirate's harpoon by juicing the engine so hard we rip the launcher out of the other ship's frame but I don't think that exists yet so I have to settle for esoteric wizard languages that make light and sound. also there would be a greasy girl there with me who's the ship's munitions expert and she teaches me more about the guns on the ship and I convince her to stick her hand into the shield generator. she's mostly there for tumblr notes but we're in love regardless
ultrakill and titanfall 2 have irrevocably rewired my brain in the best way possible
Is it possible to catch an arrow?
Maybe, but I wouldn’t bet my life on it!
hiiiiii :)

Armored Core 6 plays with names a lot.
Your main comms partner, Handler Walter, treats you as nothing more than a tool. In time he starts treating you with some slight kindness, maybe even taking pride in your performance under his directions, but he never stops calling you by your serial number: 621. You hear that there's been people before you. You're just a number to him. Distanced. Disposable.
Ayre, your other main comms partner, urges you to care about the locals of the planet you're fighting on. She calls you Raven, a moniker you stole, but later find out is a word that signifies a freedom fighter. She doubles down, hoping you'll live up to the name. Trying to impart those values on you.
The corporations both try to claim you. To the Balam Redguns, you're Gun 13. One of them. Part of their squad. Meanwhile, Rusty of Arquebus consistently calls you his "buddy." Both corporations want to endear themselves to you, convince you to fight for them. But they're exactly the same.
Then there's the Dosers of RaD. Cinder Carla, Chatty Stick and the other Dosers only ever refer to you as "tourist." You're a guest in their territory. First they spit the word at you, but later on it starts sounding almost like a term of endearment. You're not one of them, but you're not necessarily an enemy.
you should be able to fix most of the texture issues by enabling "Write Color Buffers" in the RPCS3 game configuration
decided to go ahead and play ac4 on rpcs3 because despite texture issues it runs fantastically and wow this game rules so fucking good
me not using social media because I rarely have anything worth saying and don't want my only post in a year to be some random comment on something from 4 months ago like:
Through the whole series what's your favorite weapon in Armored Core?
Ok. So. Hear me out.
The KIKU. (and every other "pile bunker"-ish weapon in the series)
Yes it's impractical, yes it's basically never gonna connect, in a game where everyone's flying around each other at mach 9, never touching the ground and never standing still, why would you take in a small, slow firing melee weapon???
Because holy SHIT when it connects??? it fucking CONNECTS
Basically EVERYTHING, including arms forts, WILL fall to a single spike of pure fuckin metal piercing through their frame and directly into a pilot, and even just the concept of that is pretty fuckin sick if you ask me!!!
This sentiment carries over into basically every single pile bunker in the series for me!! AND LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I WAS FED WITH THE AC6 TRAILER CAUSE .
OUGH . OUHHHJGHHKJTJNGH,,
