Eamon Colman at the Solomon
Tonight, I attended the opening of Eamon Colman's exhibition 'Harmony in Diversity: Nature's Curcular Dance' at Solomon Fine Art, Balfe Street, Dublin 2. The venue was packed and had a lively atmosphere.
Eamin's paintings were colourful and comprised landscapes and interiors. I loved his use of yellow, blue and pink. My favourite painting that I had managed to see was 'Moon Orchard' which features to my eye, a large pink heart. Eamon's exhibition will run until 21st Sept 2024. It was well worth going.

Salvatore of Lucan at Kevin Kavanagh
Tonight, I attended the opening of Salvatore's exhibition at Kevin Kavanagh Gallery, Chancery Lane, Dublin 8. The event was well attended and had a lively atmosphere.
Salvatore's paintings came in different shapes and sizes. One painting called 'Tiny Nude' was just 5 cm x 5 cm. My favourite painting was shaped like a heart with the title 'Heart Shaped Canvas'. Its subject matter featuring a bottom was simple and clever. Another painting which was circular had what I considered the humorous title of 'Mother With A Bad Back'. Most of Salvatore's paintings formated in the usual rectangles and squares measured up to 150 cm x 150 cm. His exhibition called 'Fancy Situations will run until 29th June 2024.

Yesterday evening, I attended the opening of Gillian Lawler's exhibition at the Molesworth Gallery called 'Edgelands'. Plenty of other people attended the event. Gillian's paintings appeared hazy and dream-like. The quality of light in them was quite beautiful. His exhibition will run until 20th July 2023 at 16 Molesworth Street Dublin 2.

I attended the opening of the latest art exhibition at Hendrons, 40 Dominic St. Upr, Dub 7 last night. The work on show consisting mainly of photography was atmospheric and evocative. I liked each personβs work for different reasons. These was one animated video played in another room. However, I did not watch the whole video because it was a cold night and I needed to keep moving. The crowd I met at Hendrons were lovely: all warm and friendly. Sandra.
Tonight I attended the packed opening of Mairead O'hEocha's exhibition 'Tale Ends & Eternal Wakes' at the Temple Bar Gallery. There was an interesting mix of drawings and paintings of various animals on display from bird to monkeys. Mairead's latest exhibition relates to her fascination with the Natural History Museum, Dublin or Dead Zoo. Her exhibition will run until April 25th 2020 at the Temple Bar Gallery 5 - 9 Temple Bar, Dublin 2.

I loved the subtle colours in Guggi's paintings and enjoyed looking at his bowl shapes that he includes in many of his artworks. Guggi's opening went very well. His exhibition will continue until 24th February 2024.
Classy.
Just checking in. Β Β Sandra.
