Mairead O'hEocha at Temple Bar.
Tonight I attended the packed opening of Mairead O'hEocha's exhibition 'Tale Ends & Eternal Wakes' at the Temple Bar Gallery. There was an interesting mix of drawings and paintings of various animals on display from bird to monkeys. Mairead's latest exhibition relates to her fascination with the Natural History Museum, Dublin or Dead Zoo. Her exhibition will run until April 25th 2020 at the Temple Bar Gallery 5 - 9 Temple Bar, Dublin 2.
Classy.

I also attended the opening of Robert Ballagh's exhibition at the Gorey Gallery, 20 Molesworth Street, Dublin 2 last night. This opening was likewise very busy.
I particularly liked Robert's self-portraits. They were well executed and observed. His exhibition will continue onto the 3rd May 2024.

Clayworks at the Printworks
I attended the opening of ‘Clayworks at the Printworks’ at Dublin Castle, Dame St, Dub 2 last Saturday 7th July 2018. The event, also the annual Ceramics Ireland Open Submission Members Exhibition, was well attended in a relaxed atmosphere. There was everything on view ranging from contemporary domestic ware through to decorate bowls to abstract installations. As a member of Ceramics Ireland, I had submitted a piece. Get a load of all these eyes.Â
I called my piece ‘All Eyes For You’.
 ‘Clayworks at the Printworks’ will run until 29th July 2018. Classy. Â
