Dinner last night đ Â ham sandwich on sour dough + a garden salad (romaine, cherry tomatoes, onions, celery, sesame seeds and a few cheese curds) with homemade balsamic dressing!
Dressing recipe below:
My favourite recipe is loosely based on this one, but I donât particularly like grainy mustard, I love garlic, and I like honey.Â
Ingredients:Â
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oilÂ
1/3 cup balsamic vinegarÂ
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (itâs honestly fine with normal mustard but Dijon is nicer imo)Â
1/2 teaspoon honey (sweeten to taste)Â
1/4 teaspoon saltÂ
1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
Seal tightly in a container and shake until completely mixed
would you ask a person buying like, a laxative if they were feeling ok?
theyâre 50/50 not feeling ok, youâre being compassionate, but theyâre buying a health care item for something very private that they more than likely donât want to talk about.Â
most people donât want to talk about whatâs happening inside their pants with strangers.Â
I've been thinking about it, and I'm pretty sure I disagree. It's not offensive or rude to say "Feeling okay?" To someone who 50/50 could not be feeling okay. And I don't think I should feel bad for being compassionate and I've always had people say thank you for asking. But I appreciate your input and I'm thankful for your opinion. đłđđ
Ok if you want to ask a woman every time you see her buying personal hygiene products if sheâs ok then go ahead, I donât care. If you disagree, fine, I also donât care. But youâre not a woman so I donât see why you think youâre allowed to have an opinion on how this makes WOMEN feel. If you keep doing this you might get some thank youâs but eventually youâre going to across a woman who will tell you off or slap you for asking such a personal and invasive question. Honestly I donât care if youâre coming from a good place if any man ever commented on me buying something for my period Iâd tell him to fuck off. It doesnât matter if youâre compassionate, itâs not your business to ask if someone is okay because theyâre on their period out buying tampons or pads. Itâs a fuckinggggg invasion of privacy regardless of where youâre coming from in intentions. I donât see where you ever got the idea that you think itâs ok to ask a woman how she feels every time you see her buying personal products??? Literally no man I know would ever do this. If anything we just want to be left alone. Iâm done talking about this with you and if you canât understand why itâs not ok then go ahead and keep doing it but just wait until it pisses a woman off then good luck to you. And yes more than just myself finds it offensive, I talked to a girlfriend about this last night and her response was âwhat the fuck, donât comment on my fucking purchases.â There ya have it.
My knee is messed up so even with it wrapped I canât do too much :(Â But Iâve been doing a super simple daily work out (plank, side plank, superman hold and hollow hold) and today I added on to it, making it a full workout considering the modifications I had to make for my leg!Â
This might be helpful to people trying to work out with a leg injury, itâs really easily modified!

Iâve lost (and gained, and lost, and gained, and lost) a lot of cumulative weight. Iâve been obsessing over my weight and going on poorly informed fad diets since before I hit puberty; in the past 3 years, Iâve weighed 98 pounds and 158 pounds. Right now Iâm in the middle, where Iâm supposed to be for my height and build. Saying you lost 60 pounds in fun, but it wasnât achieved in a healthy way and it happened way too fast to be sustainable.Â
Still, it helped me learn a lot about my body. After a lifetime of dieting, I know in at least the most basic terms what does and doesnât work for me. None of this information is revolutionary, and itâs all immensely subjective. Every body is different, but through a stupid amount of trial and error, I know a lot about mine!Â
Some of this information might be helpful, but take it with a grain of salt- if something doesnât feel right to you, it probably isnât.Â

I love trail mix! This mix uses homemade granola so you can avoid the finely processed and sugar-loaded commercial varieties.Â
I use 3 tablespoons of sweetener in this recipe (honey and maple syrup- and kind of a lot) but feel free to adjust to your tastes/diet. The raisins also add a lot of sweetness so you might want less if youâre planning to include dried fruit!
I took this on my 30km hike and wasnât hungry for a second
