I totally forgot I'm Bi HAHAHA. I love the image, I'm going to show it to everyone so they know what happens if they don't respect bisexuals
HAPPY BI VISIBILITY DAY TO EVERY SINGLE BISEXUAL OUT THERE 💖💜💙
Here’s the short comic I made for @pichikui’s Danny Phantom charity zine, GOING GHOST! She’s selling digital copies on her gumroad if anyone missed out! Profits are donated to RAICES 👻💀!!
This one is starting but seems really interesthing.
Someone should make a list of all the rise and 2012 crossover fics on ao3 that DONT bash 2012
Like it is not fun searching for fics and having to wonder every single time if the author is gonna bash the 2012 boys or if it will be a normal crossover
Aaaaaaah! I'm really curious about a lot of things, but if you'd rather avoid answering some feel free. First, what are Shigaraki's thoughts on Izuku? Because if I were Shigaraki I would be truly terrified of Izuku and what he's accomplished, because how is it that a boy, a peasant, has achieved that level of influence with his knights, knights who are supposed to legally serve the King, and they left him escape?? And how did he manage to get Katsuki, the boy he's molded since childhood, to turn against him, something that hadn't happened before his arrival. This speaks to two things that Shigaraki is going to have to think about, one that Izuku is a danger to his position and two, it shows how fragile his influence is.
Second, what did Himiko feel when she saw Izuku pull out Blackwhimp? What I mean by that is, was she scared or did she see something the others didn't? Since she tried to divert attention from Izuku and the others. Although maybe it's simply because she didn't want them to find out.
Finally, something that's been on my mind. When you write the interactions between Izuku and Katsuki, do you think Izuku replicates Katsuki's little tics and gestures? and vice versa. Since they both had pretty lonely childhoods.
Oh! And I almost forgot, I wanted to recommend a song that reminded me of the boys, it's called "Impacto" form 'Enjambre' because this is the first verse:
"Those crossed arms
And that angry frown
Have me intrigued
You intimidate me, what do I do?
And if you take one step, you make me cry
And if you walk any further, I'm going to hit the ground"
IT'S LITERALLY THEM! 💖💖💖
Also this is me 👇, after reading about Izuku living Camelot 😍🥺💋
Another fun ask from youuu 🤩 my day is made.
On Shigaraki’s thoughts on Izuku:
lemme tell you rn, that man did not even KNOW Izuku’s name for the majority of the fic.
BUT. And it’s a big but.
Even before chapter 20, Shigaraki absolutely HATES Izuku. Because he still remembers being immobile and having Izuku clothe and feed him (before he completely succumbed to hellebore). Imagine: this prideful man having his entire life in the hands of this… boy. Who he later finds out saved him. Even if Himiko did nothing in chapter 20, he would have found a way to get rid of Izuku out of sheer spite. Now this is made 100x worse by the events of chapter 20. Izuku stands up to him because he knows that Himiko and Katsuki don’t have the strength to, but by doing so he gives them the strength that Shigaraki stole from them. And shigaraki would see it as theft: theft of allegiance, theft of his knights, of his power. Yeaaaa he wants to beat that boy up.
By the end of act 2 Shigaraki doesn’t have his closest advisors, his knights’ loyalty, his fated trump card (Katsuki’s) love, and the daughter he is obsessed with (Himiko): all seemingly leading back to Izuku. He is completely exposed and therefore can’t think strategically. He’s thinking emotionally, basically begging his knights back.
(Also, Izuku was about to kill that man LOL so it’s reciprocated).
Re: Himiko’s thoughts on seeing black whip:
so glad someone asked bc I have Feelings™. Imagine you’re Himiko and you have exactly ONE second to reprocess every single interaction you have had with Izuku with this new, very crucial piece of information. Every time Izuku comforted her about her powers, or confronted her. Every time he let her feel like she was alone. But also every time HE was alone, and didn’t confide in her. I think she felt very conflicted, bc there was so much to think about (and in this moment SHE feels sorry for HIM, just as he did for her), but also he was about to lose control.
In the end, I don’t think she forgave Katsuki and Izuku for saving Shigaraki. But, instinctively she stopped Izuku from killing him and saved Shigaraki (why? I’ll leave that up to interpretation).
(For funsies I like to think what would’ve have happened if Izuku DID kill Shigaraki, in front of everyone. And Katsuki’s reaction during and after: in the knowledge that his friend just killed someone, and Izuku did it for HIM. Hehhehe so fun, bc Katsuki would ofc stick by him).
Re: Izuku imitating Katsuki,
OMGGG yes, I totally think he does! I hope to bring this out more in the separation as a form of missing someone, and wanting to feel close to them. I think tics and mannerisms are right, but also deeper personality mirroring. Izuku was extremely passive before Camelot, but I think by being around Katsuki he’s become passionate, assertive and more confident.
And the song rec!! I’ve listened to the song before but just to vibe. And oh my god, when I translated the lyrics it hit me in the chest. It is just soooooo them, thank you for recommending! Going on my golden slumbers playlist ASAP.
I’ll give you a rec in return: although I don’t have a specific song that is my fave, I loveee Florence + the Machine for this fic: the general whimsical, fairy tale vibe is sooo on point. Her song My Boy Builds Coffins inspired the boat conversation between BKDK in chapter 16.
I've been rewatching the 2012 show (AGAIN)
And I got a quite nice amount of screenshots.
(Leo edition because I realised I have the goofiest ones from him and idek why but he has many silly frames I can't even pack in here)
2012 comic, first batch
I’ve got such big feels for raphael ;_;
(im not done with season 3 yet!)
so are we not gonna talk about how leo made a simulation specifically to hear splinter say he’s proud of him? no? okay…
Leo looks so haunted by that nightmare. Each of his brothers died and he couldn’t beat the the demon that did it.
he is a little, jahah i love him
I cried reading this. Dude, even Uraraka dehumanized Izuku and dismissed his safety and well-being over the war, I can understand but that doesn't make it hurt less.
During the Tartarus escapees arc, Izuku has been dehumanized so much, it's insane. When I say dehumanized, I'm talking about how many people treat him like the vessel of One for All and not like a 16yo boy or a human being with feelings anymore.
"Nomu", "Number nine"
Meanwhile, Bakugou calls him by his name..
"You're the key to all of this. We can't have you dying on us."
like "If you die it's gonna be bad bc nobody can fight AFO anymore" and not "you don't deserve to die plz take care"
"please let him rest so he can fight properly"
and not "because he suffers so much and deserves rest"
I could make a long list of that but my point is, the more we go into the story and the more people prioritize saving the world over Izuku's well being, treating him like a robot to repair like they're just willing to sacrifice Izuku ('s mental health/life) and bakugou is having none of it.
Ever since he learned about OFA and AFO, he started to help Izuku training out of worry.
While the others want Izuku to be stronger so he can beat AFO, bakugou wants him to be stronger so he can survive. He's worried about losing izuku the most. As simple as that. A lot care about Izuku as well of course, but most still think beating AFO is more important than giving a kid a healthy happy long life.
Bakugou totally noticed it and it makes him mad. He yelled at All Might, his idol and the man he respect the most, for hiding something about the fourth user to Izuku when Bakugou knew secrets might be harmful to Izuku physically or psychologically since even though everyone noticed that Izuku was mentally drowning under pressure, they didn't really do anything worth noting to support him (until class 1A brought him back to UA)
Bakugou never mentioned AFO when he talked about bringing Izuku back because it's not his priority at all.
He's literally just dead worried for his friend.
Please, the first thing he asked him after being separated for weeks, with a war and a coma in between, was if Izuku was able to smile.
He genuinely cares so much about Izuku's safety and mental health it makes me want to cry. Bakugou went from being the boy's bully to his legit protector, so dare tell me otherwise.
During the battle with Shigaraki, he constantly had his eyes fixed on Izuku to be sure he wouldn't do anything risky and the moment Izuku really left his side to attack, Bakugou was pissed.
and he ended up saving Izuku, almost sacrificing for him. Not for a strategic purpose to keep OFA. His body literally moved on its own and all he could think about was everything Izuku and him went through. He wanted to save his childhood friend.
Honestly at this point I can confidently say that if Deku's death was the only solution to defeat/kill AFO then bakugou would prefer not to win. The guy who's obsessed with victory would totally prefer to lose than to have Izuku killed, that's a fact.
Now despite the apology, I dont think Izuku really understands how dedicated Bakugou is to protect him yet. I can't wait to see how their relationship will evolve.
Of course Bakugou isn't the only one who cares more about Izuku's life than OFA (class 1A, All Might, etc) but Bakugou's character development still has me crying.
WHAAAAAAAAT?!- I'M SO SAD NOW ಥ_ಥ.
God, I'm being serious, I'm genuinely sad that he died, I can only think of Leonardo's reaction when he finds out that Aoi is dead and he has to let him go to the afterlife. How painful.
Just started reading two souls. How this whole imaginary friend thing tie into the lore of tmnt 2012? Is it just when he's meditating or asleep or is it just completely separate from that and he just exists as seen in the fic and nowhere else?
Interlude I has confirmed a major thing in the lore.
Aoi is dead.
He died.
But instead of going to the afterlife, he got sent to the Rise verse for no apparent reason.
EDIT: For those who dont know when he died, he died in the start of the mutant apocalypse episode of TMNT 2012's season 5.
In this timeline, they stopped it
But instead of the mutagen double mutating him.
It killed him.
current obsession: TMNT and a little of BNHA. Stan of Leonardo 2012 and Izuku
