I Cried Reading This. Dude, Even Uraraka Dehumanized Izuku And Dismissed His Safety And Well-being Over

So it looks like this chapter does confirm that All for One did feel remorse for Killing Yoichi, and we know he killed Yoichi cause it's been stated All for One killed all the past user except for the forth. Considering this is the first time we've every seen All for One cry, it's pretty safe to assume All for One, for how messed up it was, did love his brother.

What interesting here is that All for One is showing cold anger, he's crying but his face is completely stoic, and even when a bullet was aimed at his head he barely reacted. He basically shut himself down, his normal shading around his eye is around his lower face, so we can only see he's eyes. This is the closet we have ever gotten to All For One being humanised in some way.

Ironically here All for One reminds me a little of how Izuku was looking/acting during the Villain hunt arc, clearly upset but shutting down all other emotions so he was emotionless. Which is interesting cause it means AFO was trying to get Izuku to act like him when he lost Yoichi, which explains why Izuku was starting to look like a villain more specifically like a demon.

All for One was literally turning Izuku into an earlier version of himself because he knows that the version of himself that lost.

I make a longer meta on how Izuku is a "good" version of All for One and how Tomura is an "evil" version of Yoichi later, but TLDR I think AFO plan is to recreate the battle between his brother and himself but switching the roles so that he wins the battle instead.

Something I noticed about 2012 Leo is that he doesn’t seem particularly comfortable with hugs.

The only times he initiates a hug are 1) “Riddle of The Ancient Aeons” when Leo hugs Raph to calm him down on the Angey planet, 2) “Journey to the Center of Mikey's Mind” with smol Mikey, and 3) those times when the boys all group hugged Splinter after SPOILERS would happen.

Every time he is hugged he is for whatever reason somewhat uncomfortable with it.

Raph hugs Leo in “Follow the Leader” and Leo struggles at first thinking Raph’s attacking him, before Leo pulls out of the hug and goes for a fist bump instead.

Raph hugs him in “Clash of the Mutanimals” and while Leo smiles, he still goes “alright alright,” showing he’s not totally comfortable with the hug

April hugs him in “Eyes of the Chimaera,” and he is surprised at first before hugging her back

He dismisses hugs from Mikey repeatedly (such as in “New Girl in Town”)

In “Within the Woods” we have the double-whammy of Mikey hugging Leo when he first wakes up, and then Raph side-hugging him later. Leo flinches both times (tho that can obviously be explained as him being in pain lol, but it doesn’t help his track record)

In “Earth’s Last Stand” after Leo comes back from his one-man mission, Raph (followed by the others) all hug him and he looks confused

Leo is a decently affectionate person. He gives head pats, wraps his arm around his brothers, leans on them, etc., but he canonically doesn’t seem to be too particularly fond of hugging. He’s not averse to it, he’s just uncomfortable/surprised whenever someone hugs him.

Rewatching tmnt 2012 has been so wild because I remember when I was a kid, Donnie was my favorite so I thought I’d just revert back to that right?? But obviously my life changed drastically in 10 years, and I’m watching it now like “wow why does Leo appeal to me so much? Why is this obviously anxious eldest child with crushing responsibilities and niche interests that nobody else cares about so relatable??” Like OH WAIT THAT’S ME LMAO

God, I'm being serious, I'm genuinely sad that he died, I can only think of Leonardo's reaction when he finds out that Aoi is dead and he has to let him go to the afterlife. How painful.

Just started reading two souls. How this whole imaginary friend thing tie into the lore of tmnt 2012? Is it just when he's meditating or asleep or is it just completely separate from that and he just exists as seen in the fic and nowhere else?

But instead of going to the afterlife, he got sent to the Rise verse for no apparent reason.

EDIT: For those who dont know when he died, he died in the start of the mutant apocalypse episode of TMNT 2012's season 5.
