Mao is the fight club of card games. I'm not explaining, because i can't.
although current magic: the gathering designers claim that black mana is not evil, the traits associated with it, both mechanically in game (sacrificing your own creatures and killing others', etc.) and in the narrative (ambition, selfishness, power), demonstrate that it is an antisocial force at least. the decision to associate the Swamp as a source of power for black decks is part of a long history in European cultures that reviles swamps, bogs, and other wetlands as evil places. this mindset contributed to the mass destruction of wetlands across the world until very recent scientific endeavors showed how important wetlands are. in reality, wetlands are extremely complicated, unique, and environmentally crucial ecosystems which exist in myriad forms on every continent save antarctica. to combat colonialist thought, i propose a radical change to the mtg paradigm by replacing the Swamp basic land type with one that truly represents a spawning ground for evil: the Parking Lot.

I hate the movie industry for a variety of reasons, but the biggest one is how all the movies feel.......cheesy? Im not sure how else to explain it, but every protagonist nowadays is always some average person, with nothing interesting about them below the surface level. And, every character has to be inconsistent comic relief. Like, we've seen so much success from movies that take themselves seroiusly that you'd think people would catch on.
