been struggling with sonic-bodies lately, so I've been sketching characters to get back on track

CONTEXT!

So a friend of mine said...

"I was walking my best friend home last night and they really needed to go but we were out in the middle of the street and I didn't want us to get caught by the cops so I picked up the turd and threw it into some random stranger's backyard."

and no it's not because I haven't tried everything.

in fact if you trace back almost all tips, guides and information,

you will find my name pop up as the original source.

I ripped this game apart and lapped its juicy insides

and all found was the ridiculous case of

just put everything in there and it'll sell for sure.

the game is fundamentally broken from start to end.

fine to say that discovery is half the fun,

but the real reason you're looking everything up,

is because this game is the most non-user-friendly,

poorly guided, terribly explained, confusing mess,

that I have ever had the displeasure to have experienced,

and those who say that it isn't,

are exactly the same people who defend Skyrim's glitches,

by saying they are a feature of the gameplay.

it's not that it's old or ground-breaking,

it's just bad,

and they poured red spectacles into this garbage gumbo,

because they knew the American market would lap that cream up.

more does not mean better by default,

it's just an excuse for poor management, poor structure,

and a complete disregard for the audience intended for the game.

there were other games available at the time that were huge,

and had features aplenty and a cool story to boot,

they even looked better too,

and they didn't take this much time and effort to do.

you fans are all victims of hype.

face it, you waste your time with it because you want more,

but you will never be satisfied,

because it's the gift that keeps on feeding you scraps.

grow up you big babies and play games that actually satisfy.

Half-Life (the original one) for example,

was simple to learn, hard to master,

and had a narrative that was simple and compelling,

fed to you beautifully through dynamic level events.

Portal 1 and 2 both are fantastic narratives,

with excellent easy to learn, hard to master gameplay.

these are of course highly specific examples,

but it's not hard to find better options,

even for the time of FF7's initial release,

to suit any playstyle, any level of investment,

and be way more coherent in the gameplay mechanics.

what if the cat represents your mom?

I saw my mom's cat today

My mother is in ill health and therefore has been put into care. We are not capable of looking after her ourselves.

Aside from this, me and her were not on good terms. You could write a whole book on the reasons why.

On Christmas (the day before yesterday) I visited her with the rest of my extended family. It did not go well. There were too many people around. It was hectic and stressful.

I am glad I went though. For one it might be the very last time to see her alive. Secondly, her attitude towards me hasn't changed. At least I won't feel guilty about anything I did.

Today (2 days after the visit) I found a black cat in my house. I have never owned a black cat, nor has any family member to my knowledge.

It wasn't a particularly unusual black cat at first glance. It was very vocal and wanted pets so I scratched its ear. The cat appreciated it and curled up on the floor next to me.

My next thought was "that's mom's cat", which is a distinctly weird thing to think, especially as to my knowledge she has never owned a cat.

The cat was young, but adult size and shape, maybe a yearling or a very old kitten.

This was when I woke from my dream and found myself in my bed.

Seeing ghosts of animals in my house and in my dreams is not something that happens to me in general.

I've only seen a shadow at a glimpse twice in this house.

First when we first bought the home and I saw an old woman, which I described to my mom at the time, me being excited and scared of seeing my first ghost and mom said it sounded exactly like the previous home owner, who had died shortly after we moved in.

The second time I saw a pack of about 8 dogs on the stairs, all of different breeds and sizes, and this was shortly before my dog died, though at this time my dog as still in health. I can't say perfect health as they had long-standing medical problems, which they'd had for years before we bought them. Still, their death was a sudden deterioration.

This encounter with the cat I'd say was along the same lines, though this time they came to me in a dream, not physically in front of me in real life, so take that as you will.

Despite being black with green eyes, a trait shared by many cat breeds, on closer inspection I realized something odd.

I couldn't recall ever seeing this cat breed before, not in real life, not on TV or film, and not on the internet.

It can be hard to identify specific breeds of solid back cats, but this one was somehow different to every black cat I knew.

So I decided to search up black cat breeds online, thinking surely I'd find the one I'm looking for, but after exhaustive efforts across official sources, which were not very helpful to say the least, I found a whole bunch of cat breeds I never heard of, but none that actually resembled the breed I saw, with not one of them even having the same muzzle shape, even if many of them had rather unusual shapes.

I didn't think I'd be able to imagine a breed of cat I've never seen, not in such crystal clear consistent detail, nor really be able to tell that I'd never seen it before, so this is a very unique experience.

I tried looking up rare and extinct breeds, but to be honest that was a pointless endeavor, since the info on that is extremely limited.

Anyone have even the slightest clue what's going on?
