“It Takes Something More Than Intelligence To Act Intelligently.”

If I could live forever and not worry about anything or anyone I would simply learn everything there was to learn about the world. I would attend random classes and study everyday about different subjects. I'd learn architecture and anatomy and astronomy and learn all the languages I could. I would study geography and herbology. I would write novels about everything I've learnt and pass my knowledge onto the future generations.

Hufflepuff: plain T-shirt’s, sharks, wildflowers, braids, ponies, kisses on the cheek, cats, morning sunshine, old cities, indie music, cabins in the woods, the sea

Ravenclaw: castles, libraries, boots, rooftops, sunrises, shampoo, pale skin, tea, crows, blue eyes, sweaters, silently swearing, smell of perfume, fresh fruits

hufflepuff: paint smeared onto hands, legs, & clothing, flower picking, mum’s friend, early bird, hair in braids, oversized hoodies, memorized their orders at their local cafe, names every thing they come in contact with, volunteers, has a diary, studies really hard, really good secret keepers, like to open their window, dance barefoot in a flower field, having a lot of accessories, hand-made presents for their friends, remembers important dates and times, has a favorite candy/snack that they always get, cooks their childhood food when homesick, has emotional attachments with all of their belongings, being neutral when their friends fight, reread their favorite books, has a playlist for every mood/events, no one really understands how loud they are, has a pinterest board that basically maps out their entire life, sugar rush, dragging their friends to dance with them, really good at avoiding confrontations, has a huge admiration for someone that had influenced them to be who they are, had gotten sunburnt at one point in their life, buys holiday theme candies, gift shops, has a box filled with photos, buys the things that they like with their own money, heart-shaped glasses, has a little garden that they guard with their life, strawberry picking, annual pass for their favorite amusement park, makes their own signature drink, pressed flowers

You are all of the things you love. You are the cluttered bookshelf that is piled high with worn, tired books. You are that delicate tea-cup that you have to clean by hand when everything else goes in the dishwasher. You are the moon and the sun. You are the flowers speckled with rain. You are the Earth and the people that live on it, with hearts of gold and diamonds in their eyes. You are the things that make you happy, that make you smile, those moments where time stops and you are left alone in space. You are all of the things you love, and if that's so, it means you love yourself, because you are yourself.

Deaf Ravenclaw students learning to translate spells into sign language and going on to become pros at wandless magic because you can’t hold a wand while using sign language. They invent their own spells that involve really subtle hand movements - they look like they’re just twiddling their thumbs but they’re actually cursing your hair to fall out. They’re terrifying dueling partners in DADA. And they charmed the eagle statue outside the common room to have magical subtitles and respond to sign language.

I wish I was a cat. Not, like, in a furry way though. Just in an “I’m sad and want to sleep in the sun and live in a bookshop and have no responsibilities” kind of way
