I wish I was a cat. Not, like, in a furry way though. Just in an “I’m sad and want to sleep in the sun and live in a bookshop and have no responsibilities” kind of way
have we gotten to the point where we can accept that dark academia tumblr is just the classic lit fandom or are we not ready for that yet
Being a fan of TBHK is honestly a dream come true because it feels like we're being constantly bombarded with high-quality official content. Like the main series' art and story are already so fleshed out and polished but would you like some more commemorative artwork? Twitter events? AUs? I've never felt so pampered. Like you can feel the passion and care the team has for their series and characters and its so refreshing. We're so blessed, I'm so blessed. Thank you, AidaIro.
Here we are! Our first release as a scanlation group of AidaIro’s brilliant debut one-shot, Dear My Living Dead. It’s kind of a predecessor of the main Toilet Bound Hanako-kun series, so it’s interesting to see the thematic links between the two works. Everyone in our team has been working very hard on it - I’m incredibly proud to see how far we’ve come! We hope you all enjoy reading DMLD and look forward to our future scanlations~ Wormokke signing off! ^^
Full chapter under the cut.

> Slytherin
light drizzle, foggy window pane, studying with your best friend in a secluded alcove of the castle, bulky sweaters, distracted glances, dark mocha lattes, squinting at tiny text, notebooks with neat bullet points, the gentle purr from your cat cuddled against your hip, witty remarks about past lectures, looking over questions from old exams handed down by an upperclassman, exchanging notes to see if either of you missed any details
> Ravenclaw
heavy downpour, low rumble of thunder, kneeling on the floor at the coffee table in the common room, sweeping loose hair behind your ear, hot cup of tea, rereading sections of the textbook, sliding glasses up the bridge of your nose, underling key points, writing notes in the margins, a semicircle of empty mugs enclosing your study area, lots of leaning back and sighing in deep frustration, scoffing when a classmate asks if “so and so” will be on the test because the hell if you know
Starting a new book because being in the middle of four books simply isn't enough for me.
classic lit hits different than modern lit not because modern lit lacks depth but because there’s something so incredible about reading something and knowing that hundreds of years before you people were living, breathing, loving, the same way you do now. like one hundred years ago someone read these same words and felt them and read them just as you do today, and you’re connected despite the times that separates you
Sir please that's my emotional support stack of books that i haven't read
Me: I don't underline and highlight sentences in a book for nothing. I do that to reflect upon the important things and ideas later so I can better understand the core theme of the book and enrich my knowledge and perspective of life.
Also me: *underlines every time a character 'flung himself on to the sofa' in the Picture of Dorian Gray*
