My dogs never let me have my Hawks body pillow. They love sleeping on him and get upset when I take him away. ;-;

Hawks who isn't into sports, but some how knows everything about them. Turns out he is really good at Baseball with a world record fast ball that broke the batter's bat, and almost killed the umpire. Now Hawks is banned from playing pitcher whenever he is invited to join in Baseball events.

So my friend and I have been having a disagreement about if canon Hawks and fanon Hawks would be good at playing poker. Opinions?

The way I see it, Canon Hawks at some point, would have been introduced to Poker, rules explained and he plays a few rounds. He isn't that great at first, but later down the line, he starts to memorizing the patterns needed to win. He becomes pretty good, and knows if he can win or not based on the others around him. Because of how social and emotionally intelligent he is, he can read the room and people around him. When he knows he has lost and is unable to bluff, he folds, but if he knows he can get away with it, he will press on.

Would he be good at poker? Not at first but eventually yes.

Fanon Hawks, would be a pro at it from the start, no questions asked, he would even use his feathers to slip cards and use his charm to distract the table as he cleaned house.

C.Hawks: I wonder if that new restaurant that opened up has any good beef bowls.

F.Hawks: I just want something with chicken!

C.Hawks: Why not cannibalize yourself then, chicken boy.

F.Hawks taking offence: I'm not a chicken! I'm a Hawk!

Sometimes I like to think that Hawks will go days with improper sleep, and it doesn't show much except for the bags under his eyes when he takes photos with fans. People think the bags are due to hard work and non-stop crime fighting, and while true, it's mainly because he gets maybe 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night. Then when sleep finally catches up to him, he ends up sleeping for a whole week straight, only waking up from being hungry, and ends up in cranky moods. When he gets calls as to where he is, in a grumpy mood he just mumbles "sleepy", or "leave me alone". Bird man needs his rest but can't properly care for himself.

Hawks unhinged and feral is sexy and you can't tell me I'm wrong. The way his eyes are sharp and focused, his smile is replaced with a snarl or frown. His movements are cold and calculated, meant to kill. Willing to risk his life and die protecting others. The way he laughs over the fact he could die, and doesn't care at all. We love it. how would canon and fanon hawks react if an ex of his gave out his personal information? how would hawks react if this crazy ex came after his current s/o

Canon would freak out, and more than likely try to find a way to remove all the leaks and find a way to cover up the information, likely saying it was false. He can't let anyone know nor would the commission be pleased if they found out, their "perfect soldier" was giving private informations to someone so 'temporary'. Along with that if he had a crazy ex come after his current partner, more than likely he would treat them as a threat, and take care of them himself. That is what he is trained to do, and while he wouldn't go as far as kill them or cause direct harm, he would more than likely talk to them, or have them taken away.

Fanon? He wouldn't really care as much, but he knows he will get backlash from the commission for the information getting leaked. Now if his ex came after his current partner, he would no have it at all. He would go out of his way to make sure his partner was safe and protect her from his ex. More than likely he would have his ex arrested for attempted assault or something such as that.

I love canon Hawks, he's so cool and amazing, ah, I'm everything to do with the canon because eh... In some way it feels right? Real? (nothing against fanon, I love Hawks in all his forms hahahaha)

But if you don't mind, can you compare Hawks with a hero s/o, who works with him constantly (maybe in his agency or not, is not important) I'm just curious about it. Thank you, I enjoy lots your content.

Alrighty, after some thinking I got an idea of what to write.

Canon Hawks when working with a hero s/o, he makes sure to stay close to them, but not too close. He just wants to make sure they don’t get into any trouble. He does not stick them all the time, for he lets them have their space. While the two work together constantly, they do have their moments where they do separate missions and specialize in specific types of work. They have their moments of banter and fun but like to keep things very profession during work. Outside of work, the two are inseparable.

Vs.

Fanon Hawks loves to tease and is very playful, even at work. Rather than doing paperwork or keeping his agency afloat, he likes to spend his time messing around. When it comes to patrols, missions and keeping popularity rating up, Hawks is always first to show up and steal the crowd and be the center of attention. When he is with his s/o, he makes sure everyone knows that they belong to him and will flaunt them to the world. His fans are jealous, and the media loves to eat up any drama or rumors from the two. All in all, Hawks will make sure the world knows who belongs to him.
