Headcannon: Sometimes I Like To Think That Hawks Weighs Close To Nothing Due To Having Hollow Bones,

Late night thought:

So canonically, Hawks has a brand of accessories such as rings, watches, belts, etc. This makes me wonder. Are his signature red studded earrings also from his brand? Or are they just earrings he got because he likes the look of them?

I need a fic where Hawks permanently loses his ability to speak after getting hit with a quirk and now has to rely on his avian instincts to communicate. However, everyone starts to lose their interest and love for him until his popularity drops to the bottom of the barrel. This causes him to lose faith in humanity and become a hermit, never leaving the new home he made himself in an abandoned warehouse and slowly losing more of his humanity until he is a feral bird of prey. He gets captured after having killed a few people who decided to get too close to his home and ends up in rehabilitation rather than prison. Why? Because he isn't deemed sane or even seen as human, ar least mentally. So now Hawks spends months trying to learn to be human again, but being unable to speak makes it incredibly difficult. That is until he makes a few chirps and squawks, thsn slowly over the months he manages to parrot words and phrases, and then learns to speak broken English and finally becomes fluent once more. After being fully rehabilitated, he is welcomed back into society. Question is, would people still accept him?

Whenever I re-watch the 3rd MHA movie, I like to think that Hawks is fast, but like, inhumanely fast. So fast that he can dodge literal gunfire and take down the enemies with ease. BECAUSE HE FUCKING DOES! He moves so fast that he is unharmed as he fights on the ground and still keeps going. Without his wings btw, because his feathers are busy searching, so ye. Hawks is fast, but like, inhumanely fast that it's scary.

Sometimes I like to think that Hawks was never allowed to have a pet. One day he decides to adopt a dog and enjoys the day he has with it, only for the next day when he comes back from work for the dog to be gone, and the president of the commission to tell him, "oh yeah we got rid of your dog because its a distraction to your work. Fuck you and your happiness." And so Hawks gets upset, but then gets a cat, because they are independant creatures, but the commission gets rid of the cat as well, saying the same thing. So then Hawks decides to get a pet fish and the commissions allows it because fish do nothing but swim in their tanks and don't require much upkeep. When Hawks finds this out he decides in invest in a giant salt-water aquarium in his agency as a fuck you to the commission.

C.Hawks: Fanon, your insecurity is showing.

F.Hawks who is about ready to tackle Sorano in a hug: Wha- Oh um, don't worry, I'll take care of you now. I won't let anyone lay a finger on you, okay?

C.Hawks: Well, we might as well go somewhere to eat. I'm feeling a bit peckish so why not go to this restaurant I know that has really good food?

F.Hawks: Sure, what do you say, Sorano?

Question for the Bird Bros: I grew up around birds so I picked up on birdie habits. I can imitate bird calls really really good and I like to clean my feathers. Do either of you have any birdie traits?

C.Hawks: I don't have any bird traits, my quirk is a mutation quirk, meaning it isn't in my family's line of quirks. So my appearance and quirk don't really connect with my past.

F.Hawks: I do have a majority of bird traits: Nesting, preening, mostly meat diet since I am a raptor. I do like shinies, and have heightened senses. I don't need my equipment to be safe, my body is adept to the high speeds I fly at, and I do chirp when I am really happy. My wings also tend to show my emotions, so there that.

How I would imagine Canon Hawks vs. Fanon Hawks would react if they saw Y/N being kidnapped late at night.

C.Hawks: *would jump into action no hesitation, bring the criminals in and hand them over to the police then check to see if Y/N is alright*

Vs.

F.Hawks: *would jump into action to save Y/N and would be more focused on Y/N that the criminals would get away, or he would heavily injure them to the point of hospitalization, and be overly protective towards Y/N even offering them to stay at his place or he stay at theirs*

I feel like when Hawks has breakdowns or is on the brink of one, he sits alone and curls his wings around himself, shielding him from the outside world. On the outside he looks pretty goofy but inside his wings, he feels the most safe and keeps others out as he deals with his own problems by himself.
