Omg same! I personally see it being her father’s influence since well- he and the Mom are the main antagonists in general but the blame always goes on GF and just because she was raised by them doesn’t mean she is going to turn out the same :)

Angel (along with Arackniss and Molly) is Swirl’s “son” to her and cares very much for them than any other child or demon. Swirl knew the spider siblings since they were young (like Angel was around 7 while she was 20) and came to her candy store. She would feed them and love them.
