First off ๐๐congrats on that grind of 5k๐๐ you've always been an amazing artist and just a real tubular dude!
Secondly, may I please submit one of these request? Katsura x Shino spice, can't ever have too much of them or- or some very steamy hot Nanami Kento x Kin propaganda?
Whichever fuels the flames!
Keep being radical and have a gnarly day ๐โโ๏ธ
Far out, asking for the love bugs!! Of course I could not not feed the Kin and Nanamin, so check your inbox for the agenda ๐ค
"Why are human skulls so fragile?"
Soooo, this is Emmanuel, he is a praying mantis, making him extremely tall. Please, don't ask him too many questions, because your skull will be cracked like an egg. Just a friendly warning. ๐๐
tw there's a photo of a bee. bee aware. haha get it get it GET I
just putting this out there, i hate the stigma against carpenter bees.
"but they burrow in wood and ruin your house!" skill issue, my house is already in the trenches (constantly dirty for no reason, no ventilation, the floor is broken in quite a few spots, etc.)
"but they can still bite and sting you!" erm, ackshually ๐ค males don't have stingers. plus, the females typically aren't aggressive and only sting if absolutely necessary. and also, if they can bite, why do they like to sniff my hair when i go outside and bumble around just like their cousins?
(picture taken by u/formal-constant2818 on r/entomology)
like, come on. these little guys are absolutely adorable. i don't care about the structural integrity of your house, how can you hate these little fellas? i used to be fucking terrified of bees until i learned that the carpenter bees around my house literally just act tough and can't hurt you for shit
because you guys askedโฆ
caterpillars! (There are 4 but one was at the very bottom of the container and i didnt want to disturb him)

[PLEASE LOOK AWAY IF YOU DONT LIKE SEEING ANYTHING BUG RELATED] Today I was in a very bug anthro/furry mood and decided to doodle my beautiful wife Poison Ivy as a orchid-praying mantis anthro. I love her sm <33
Also yea I was debating on whether or not to have Pam be either an Orchid or Praying Mantis and so I decided a bit of both cause why tf not.
I also felt very inspired by one of my favorite anthro artists Idolomantises and their Bugtopia series! Itโs really good.
I hopefully plan to do more with the other rogues! I just need the motivation and thought for what they maybe.
tumblr keeps showing me pretty rocks! It makes me wan bite dem

Wasps are great! Some social wasps can not only recognize individuals of their own species, they can recognize humans as well and โbefriendโ people!
Iโve had positive experiences with the yellowjackets that live around campus at my school- my school is full of insect lovers who are pretty chill about them, and I think they recognize that at least some of the humans around them are friendly, as theyโll often land on me or share a bite of my lunch, but have never stung me or been aggressive, and I havenโt heard anyone talk about them stinging people.
There are also lots of cool wasps outside of yellowjackets and hornets, many of which cannot sting. Some of them are ridiculously tiny- the smallest insect in the world is a type of fairy wasp smaller than some single-called parameciums and amoebas. (Wikipedia article here if youโre interested.) Wasps are incredibly diverse and beautiful, and we neednโt fear and loathe them because a few of them might sting.
[Image description from alt text: A photo of a small brown wasp pollinating a dandelion. Only part of the dandelion flower is visible, because it dwarfs the wasp in size. The wasp has faint, light stripes on its abdomen, bent antennae, and purplish eyes.]
I saw this posted on reddit to a wholesome memes sub, and it was full of nothing but people being unnecessarily awful on a post trying to spread information about why these creatures are beautiful and worthy of living. (Interesting note: They don't need a reason to be allowed to live.) I got sick of trying to correct people on there who were more interested in hating wasps than hearing the truth.
Honestly, it's just exhausting sometimes.
