Today’s first anniversary of my setting The House of The Devil!

These characters and story mean a lot to me, since they existed long before I decided to write a serious story with them a year ago. Also this is like my first ever serious setting

I’m kinda back to writing oc lore

I actually have the entire story of The House of The Devil laid out, I’m just polishing it and adding details, like

Piper’s hair/fur

In my lore, all grown satyrs are pretty hairy, but poor environment, malnourishment or diseases can prevent young satyrs from growing hair. So I’ve decided to add that into Piper’s design, showing improvements in his life

Piper’s leg

Later on in the story Piper breaks a leg and has to be away from the House, so that they could heal at least a bit. But Chiyo only gave them two weeks to get better, he was forced to do a bunch of tasks by his doctor, and they were running around town investigating things with Chiyo in town after. So in the end his leg healed improperly, causing constant discomfort

Madam

Cold-blooded in many ways, Madam lives in a small house, which the inhabitants of the town called “The House of the Devil.” Driven out of society, she helps people like her with shelter and food, despite her own poverty. After numerous attempts to kill her, Madam has lost trust in people, now her heart is open only to those whom she helps.

Piper

A curious look can lead to unpleasant consequences - Piper realized this only when two tall ladies stood over her and decided that for his curiosity, Piper should serve their punishment in the House of the Devil. In exchange for a place to stay and food, Piper must help Madam with housework and keep the house safe. He soon realized that while they live in the House, he should put the insolence of his character directed towards Madam away, because in the House of the Devil everything operates according to Madam’s rules.

Chiyo

Agile and cunning, the kitsune merchant one day decided to stay in England longer after a certain black and yellow snake captivated her eyes. Chiyo helps the House as best she can, but her motives are not fully known to anyone, and his words cannot be trusted. Maybe he's on Madam's side while what's happening piques her interest...
