Oil paintings by Paolo Girardi (Italian, b.1974)
https://www.instagram.com/paologirardipainter/
here's an old painting i did of gangle that I'm randomly deciding to post over a year later
Who was going to tell me that oil paint is messy??
Like I had to clean up so much oil paint from myself and my table because of this stupid paint
Not only that BUT HOW DID IT GET ON AND UNDER MY NAILS???
WTF šš
it's always the oil panters. every time I see an artist who uses oils, they always make the most phenomenal piece of art imaginable
Pool # 27 - Ā Ann Goldberg , 2016.
Canadian , b. 1970s
Oil on canvas , 30 x 48 in.
The mars black has a neutral saturation whereas the ivory black is bluer and darker.Ā Thus, Mars black for the win.
i terribly needed a distraction - and imma upload a timelapse of this in a few days once i check if i am truly content with the result
Testosterone Box #2
Oil paint with palette knife, 12x12 inches
Mazda #2
Oil paint with palette knife
11x14 inches
Drew some pomegranates for the first time, turned out nicely.
Tried to not get so caught in the details by using two larger brushes to do these fruits, the grapes arenāt done yet but it worked and turned out quite nice:)
Another oil painting on paper, somehow it goes better on paper.
I ran out of canvases so I had to use paper this time, forget me nots are a pain and a half to draw.
Sorry for the shitty light I tried my best. First time trying to paint a rose in candlelight, I think it turned out alright
"looking forward" 18x24 oil on canvas
this one's about how easy it is to get depressed while chronically ill & disabled, and how i combat it by "looking forward" (š) to the future and the good things it may have in store for me.
what if i started posting my paintings here lol
"50%" 18x24in oil and thread (NOT SPAGHETTI) on canvas
this piece is meant to be representative of chronic migraines, symbolized by the thread, and funky lines and textures, and a monochromatic color scheme. the title itself is a reference to the fact that, on average, i have a migraine about 50% of days. really fun stuff right? but it's important to express our frustrations someway, somehow, and my personal favorite method is by using the creative arts. im not a very outwardly expressive person, so art is where i turn to.
I know this isnāt Transformers related but this is some of my other art and I wanted to see what yall thought š
Redrawing of William Bouguereau's painting "Earrings" with my oc
Jean Jacket (unfolded) from Nope
Made with acrylics/oil paints, I figured I celebrate the occasion of Halloween by painting a recreated screenshot of Jean Jacketās true form. Ever since I watched the movie, I have always been fascinated by this creature, the themes surrounding it, and especially how it works. If Peele ever decides to make a sequel, I definitely want to learn more about what these things are, if there are more, and where they came from.
āNopeā and Jean Jacket belongs to Universal Studios, Monkey Paw Productions, and Jordan Peele
Random ass abstract painting WIP Iām doing 2 familiarise myself with oil paints
and dear god do I hate it
I've added this type of painting to my Kofi!!! Depending on the size/portion of the animal drawn prices will vary, but a single headshot will run you $30 USD (accessories like a collar/bandana included)! You can find my Kofi HERE, but can also communicate with me through Tumblr/My Discord (Splasharooni)! Right now I only have examples for cats/dogs, but I'm open to all sorts of animal companions!!! I would love to try drawing snakes, hamsters, insect buddies, fish, and everything in between! I'm also open to adding little patterns to the backs of pieces in celebration of Halloween, like little pumpkins or skulls!!
**Required of Customer: A picture (or lots of pictures, the more the better!!) of the subject! It would be cool if the lighting was clean/clear, but I can work with all different types of lighting/adjust it accordingly!! I'm new to painting but eager to learn/grow!!**
Been trying to get back into painting because!!! I want to get back into touch with my technical skills. I love drawing cartoons it is my passion!! But I find myself missing the more classical forms of art, like the painting and charcoal work I focused on in school. I'm thinking of adding these pet portraits to my Commission rotation! I've had some friends say that 30$ is a good price but I work heavily from the references I'm provided so I'm not sure if that's the best one to stick with? Do you charge more or less for that?? I'm still not sure about the pricing of my cartoons, let alone works like this! If anyone out there in the art community has any opinions, tips, advice, etc I'd love to hear it! A portrait like one of these usually takes me between 2-3 hours, and I use a digital program (Clipstudio) along with a basic oil brush that came with it.
