I made some of them shrinky dinks today. I made Ortensia, oswald and Mickey. As well as a crumpled max (he crumpled and I spent like an hour to draw him😭). Ortensia is my favourite.
In your guy’s opinion which of the max VA’s speak to you the most. This includes hit the road, the show and telltales VA’s. As well which voice do you hear when reading things in max’s character ?

This originally just was a silly little sketch but I liked it so much I decided to ink color and and shade it! It looks kinda derpy, I know, but that was the point all along lol
Little Sam and Max sketch I did because I’m so glad I’m queer and not a straight incel and/or coomer. I wouldn’t wish the life of a straight incel/coomer on my worst enemies, cause some of my enemies are already like that lol
Well, there’s a Sam and Max Halloween art contest happening, so I threw my hat into the ring with this! I’m honestly REALLY proud over how this one came out!
Well, here’s something after not posting in a while. (Spoilers for The Devil’s Playhouse)
Well, my drawing tablet needed repairs, so it’s led to me doing a lot of sketches and drawings on paper, this one inspired by the ending of The Devil’s Playhouse. I know it’s probably stupid for me to draw these two in any sentimental nature, particularly Max, but I always assumed even with how chaotic they can be, they also has a soft side. (mostly coming from my personal experience of being the absolute fucked up person I genuinely am that still has space for affection sometimes) So here they both are paying their respects to their alternate selves who lost their lives after being turned into giant monsters and mercy killed in the aftermath of using their psychic abilities to save the world from a great otherworldly evil. I genuinely do think Max was more negatively affected by this than he was letting on. (“Fun” fact: Lagomorphs in general have a tendency to hide any vulnerability they have, which first evolved to protect them from predators)
Also I’m probably going to be taking a break from Tumblr. It’s not giving me joy like it used to, and anyone can report an art piece for no reason and get it blocked for some fucking reason. I’d wish the Sam and Max fandom well, but I don’t want to make this post more emotional and sappy than it already is.

I did a bunch of Sam and Max sketches. One of those being an idea I had rattling in my brain for a while, that being the “Max Apocalypse” scenario. I guess I could have just did the alternate timeline from The Devil’s Playhouse considering the many Maxes, buuut, my brain thought that making them “zombies” that turn others they bite into strange rabbity things would be cooler.
I guess I’m also making fun of that this frickin Lagomorph is consuming my very mind XD I’m so fucked aren’t I? Might as well enjoy the ride while I’m on it!
It truly is a Max world
Ridiculous trivial Sam and Max detail that I shouldn’t be taking as seriously as I do:
I’ve always felt uncomfortable over Max supposedly having bones in his ears, which is shown off in many different instances. (I assume it’s so his head shape could still be recognized even in skeleton form for comedic effect.) I don’t feel this way because it’s weird, I love Max and his weird self! I mostly just feel bad knowing how uncomfortable that must be for him. Now I came up with this theory that those “ear bones” are just an exotic form of thick dense cartilage that resembles bone and hardens into calcium after death, mostly because I see Max’s ears flop around anyway despite the implied ear bones. Then it turned into a theory about his ENTIRE skeletal system minus his teeth being made of this exotic form of cartilage.
I think way too much about the anatomy of a cartoon rabbity thing than I should. But I do it anyway, because it’s my existential crisis, and I get to choose what to do with it!

I love The Devil’s Playhouse so far! Also, this took way too long to finish.
I drew this after seeing an article from an old gaming magazine about Sam and Max Hit the Road. In the description of Max, it claimed that he hatched from an egg! It sounds plausible considering how strange of a creature Max is, but I take it with a grain of salt since it was only mentioned one time in one article back in 1993.
It could’ve just been something Sam told Max when Max asks Sam where he came from for all we know.
Max is planning a very special musical performance for the neighbors tonight
Honestly I’d take Max over both current presidential candidates any day. Or maybe I’ve gone just as insane as he is. Also, I usually don’t like talking about politics openly (especially online) cause I don’t like tribalism, unless of course something pisses me off so much I have to say something. (That happens way too often for my liking. Why can’t I just watch the world burn and enjoy it?)
To celebrate the announcement of Sam and Max: The Devil’s Playhouse Remastered’s release date, I drew this! Had a good amount of fun making it too!
I had to do this since it’s officially Pride month!
I got extra experimental with this particular drawing of Max.
Gooseworx is getting harassed for making Jax “too mean” in the latest episode so I drew this.
I really like drawing Max. Also, this is a bit of dialogue I came up with myself.
I almost didn’t finish this one mostly because I was wondering I was doing something wrong not drawing Max as a chaotic and destructive sociopath, but I ended up drawing it anyway. It was partially also inspired by a dream I had that the four baby bunnies were in. As well as that one scene from Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3.
