So I was on YouTube and a web comic ad comes up. It was amv type one which I personally had never seen so I sat through it, not to mention it was on yaoi. Things like Love Stage, and Junjou Romantica was on it I was like "okay sweet, I love both of those" and then the scene from Free! Iwatobi Swim Club were Rin pushes Haru against a gate pops up and I just sit there and think 'Wha- b-but... Free isn't... Well it's not classified under... WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO MY SHIPPER SELF! YOUR FEEDING IT DAMNIT!'

Man, fuck allat shit. If I was rich ($100 mil+), I'd give millions upon millions to funimation so they'll DUB SOME DAMN BL'S!!! One of the top arguments for why BL's aren't dubbed is that "they're not as profitable".... okay, fine, if you received a large sum of money, will you go ahead and dub some already? Cherry Magic, Tadaima Okaeri, Dakaichi, Junjou Romantica, Doukyuusei, the rest of Given.... if someone gave them millions, would they finally dub that stuff?
As a side note, I think hardcore BL fans need to put the whole "It's not profitable because of homophobia" idea out of their heads. I saw people saying that recently and also saying that's why the Yuri On Ice movie was canceled, and I just doubt that that's the reason, or at least that it's the main reason. Just because the genre doesn't appeal to as many people, that doesn't mean it's homophobia. It just means the genre isn't as appealing to as many people. Now, don't get me wrong, do some people dislike BL largely because it's gay? More likely than not. But, I'd argue the majority of people who aren't into it aren't into it because it's just not their thing.
You are, however, free to disagree if you like. Being able to disagree and offer counter arguments respectfully is one of the great things about people.
As of right now, if I had 3 wished, one of them would be for BL anime to be more mainstream so that studios would be more likely to dub them. I hate seeing really good-looking BL animes and finding out they won't be dubbed because BL isn't as marketable/has a smaller audience. I want a dub of Cherry Magic, and Dakaichi, and Doukyuusei, and so many other BLs.
