So, recently ive seen that updates of the luigi mangione case hasnt been as spread as they were like in early january, and Idk but I think this is smth planned maybe by the us government bc we all know how useful it is that more ppl are educated about his case, bc eventhough there is still support this is apparently just thirst trap, and I, so, the fact that less and less ppl are understanding luigis purpose and just see him as a "hot criminal" definetly benefits the pillars of the economy (or the CEOs), and its is quite obvious how theyve manipulated media to their own benefit and it has worked, i dont think you all need sm examples but u can use germany in the middle 30s as reference, and well even non americans like me have seen so much the manipulation of the usa government towards their ppl and have seen how this isnt a hard task but it is effective and therefore dangerous.

Another thing that has terribly damaged his image is, again, how media has treated him, especially now that his trial just happened and they get to do whatever the fuck they want and to use him as they like, and I mean, ppl on average are not stupid to not know that killing is wrong, but in this circumstance we see that luigi was murdering a murderer, so this is in fact what ppl found sympathetic, even before his identity reveal, but just after we got to know him, media worked HARD to make him be seen as this cruel evil guy that had no feeling towards a father that did nothing but protect his family, which is so fucking fake, how many stories have we not heard about CEOs or men of his statue doing everything but being a father or a decent husband.

So, in conclusion, I think that atp of history we know enough to do the right decision of trusting or not the government and media and act on that. Nevertheless its NECESSARY that we keep supporting him and spreading info as we much as we can bc the aim of the prosecution is life imprisonment which would make everything he has done in vain.

Posting this political vent cuz I'm more anonymous on here than my other acc.

I wanna fucking cry. I'm Korean and Puerto Rican. My family consists of African Americans, Koreans, Puerto Ricans, and Mexicans. I'm pansexual, some folks in my family are pansexual or bisexual. I'm a girl, among all of the other girls and women in my family. We're lower middle class, I have ADHD, and so do my other folks. I have Depression and Anxiety, like some of my other folks. My grandma is widowed and Jewish. My friends are from various groups. Some are trans, some are Muslim, some are Jewish, some are Afro-Latino, etc. What's gonna happen to us? I want to disappear. The world is melting. As kids, we were promised that we can be anything. Well, I wanna be dead. My daddy told me that the world was my oyster. I'm 18 now, and by the time I reached my age, we overfished the world. We pawned off all of the pearls that we had promised future generations for our unsustainable, insatiable, lust for a piece of silky paper with a president who killed thousands. I love my country. I love my country. I love my country. I want to leave my country. God bless the land that was never free for me. God bless the land that had gone against everything whatever God we believe in stood for. God bless the land that was built upon slavery, exploitation, rape, and murder. For more reason to support Mr. Mangioni, my local (big chain) pharmacy has stopped carrying my dad’s medication because it’s not profitable enough, and he’s currently on the phone about finding other places to get it, because the current minimum price to get it through our insured pharmacy is $600 a month, which is about the same price as my college tuition

I think there's something to be said that saying the words "Deny, Defend, Depose, you're next" to an insurance sales rep can get you arrested for 'threats of mass homicide' or whatever with a threat of 15 years in prison

But when I was a manager in a fast food restaurant I've had customers throw food at me, demand for my personal phone number with an added threat of "Well I'll just have to FIND it", customers charging past the front counter to physically intimidate me and my coworkers, screaming and swearing, demands to know what time I get out of work, demands to know when my manager would be at work as a threat, people sitting in their car waiting for me to finish closing because they were angry at me, causing me to stay in the office watching the camera waiting for them to drive away...

But none of those incidents are arrest-able offenses, not one, any time I called the cops on any customer I would just hear excuses like " "there isn't anything illegal about calling a restaurant", that nothing physical happened and therefore there's nothing they could do, to call back and let them know if anything else happens

Idk, just think it's A TEENY TINY BIT ODD

Cop in the news goes "words have consequences" as if people don't berate and threaten fast food and retail workers every day

Guys this isn't just a trend. While yes, he is hot. He stands for something more than that. He stands for someone who stood up for the working class and who gunned down an evil man. A man who profited off of millions of peoples misery and deaths.
