I love how the COTL fandom took one look at the Goat in the new trailer and unanimously decided that they are much more damaged mentally then the Lamb-

like bro he is adorable! Everyone: war crimes, he killed his Narinder, bloody axe murder.

Just look how sweet he is! Me personally? I love this Lil Goat!!

COTL AU

I have thought of an AU. Imagine if the lamb didn’t make the Bishops their followers. What if after the fight, the Bishops were sent into a deep sleep and woke up when the humanoid animals went all extinct and now humans roamed the world. They Bishops are now small, weak and almost powerless. They have to slowly regain the power of their crowns before taking over again but then they are all found by humans, some who decide to take them in and take care of them. Well, at least most of them are taken in. Narinder would not let himself be adopted.

AU is basically a ‘What if the Bishops were normal ish animals and had humans to care for them?’ Shamura would be the pet tarantula of a genius yet overly stressed college student. Kallamar be living in an aquarium and one of the workers, a young adult, there cares for him a lot. Narinder is a stray cat that is often aggressive towards people but eventually warms up to one person, a chill schooler. Heket is a fat frog who be treated like queen cause frogs are the best by a rather hyper middle schooler. And Leshy is taken in as a pet by a primary school student.

Who would these characters be? Idk, it’s up for interpretation, it’s an open AU and anyone can use it. Do whatever you want, the humans be placeholders in my eyes until I figure something out but hey, I hope this can be fun for someone! Just imagine having a wise spider, a scared squid, an angy kitty, an even angrier frog and an arrogant worm! It be chaos and I love it!

The Worm

"Leader's younger brother... I have known him for over two centuries, he is still a bit of a mystery, but I know he is a good man.

Usually, he is never seen around the Cult grounds, except for parties and rituals, but since The Lamb's arrival, he has been spending a lot more time besides The Reaper.

Our Great Leader

"Things didn't go smoothly at the beginning. I have to admit, our leader died countless times before we made great progress. But that is what made me admire him, no matter what, he would not give up.

Not on The Lamb, not on us."

"As the decades went by, our leader grew stronger and wiser, the heretics learned to fear The Lamb once again, but most importantly, their Witness. But even then, he always had time to spend with us...

And the crops...

Well... Once a farmer..."

"... I do not recall most of that day... Just that... He begged for more time. 

Time to help his siblings get stronger, to teach them how to use their powers and aid mortals with them and how to survive in the new world.

Then... I recall organizing his journals and finding drawings for new robes. I took no time to begin making them, I just wanted to do something to help him.

I'm not sure if it was in vain... Although he wears it... I have yet to see his smile once again."

"As The Lamb lives among us now, I believe these stories would fit well in a journal or a book of it's own, don't you agree?"

"Only if he allows..."

"Still devoted, I see. Worry not, I will ask him for permission, of course. However, you should go now, there's plenty to do at the temple."

"Ok, thank you for your time. Mister...?"

"My name is something I abandoned long ago... Refer to me as... The Fox."

(I definitely messed something up while writing this... I'm bilingual and all, but I'm still dumb and english is not my main language.)

"The last cat alive, at least as far as we know. My brother, Narinder. He's the kindest soul I know, but he has a dark past, and maybe an even darker future. 

I have known him for centuries, but have only seen his "demon form" once, but my memory is good enough for me to make a sketch of what I saw 6 decades ago. I'm afraid we will see it again, now that his Bishop, The Lamb of Life, lives among us. He's unstable. And only Leshy seemed to be able to calm him... Besides the source of the problem themselves...

I'll try to find more about this in the old books... I hope it does not take another decade to find something useful.

Also fyi, when Dulciter first became a crown bearer, Narinder didn’t give them a bell. The whole time they wore Puella’s bell. It was until they were resurrected that they got their own bells.

Most people probably already know these artists, but if you don't consider giving them all a look, they all do really cool stuff.

There was no particular post that inpired me for the pose I just used this character sheet as my reference.

Your comics are so cute plus your styles so round and cuddly.

I really like the way you draw the lamb in particular, their wool's so shape and I love the pattern on the cloak.

So the inspiration for this was a variety of things. Your comic of Narinder fishing with Aym and Baal plus the drawing of Lamb and Narinder fishing. So i decided to draw them fishing together.

I really like the mother au, these two are so interesting to me and the shittens are so cute. I love Ovidia's design, its a very unique and recognisable one. I especially like the dress they wear, the patterning was really fun to draw.

This was originally suppost to look more evil, but i decided to keep it fluffy. I combined this drawing of Ovidia being evil with Narinder and the second pic of this post of them being all lovey.

I got the designs so wrong. I miss interpreted the reference and by the time I realised it was too late, sorry about that. The lamb's just lending their coat to Narinder for the day :')

Aside for that I really like the concept of a pirate au. Your designs are really cool and have a really nice silhouette. My friend who I was sending progress pics really liked your pirate au.

So for the drawing i used your valentines day art as my inspiration and wanted to draw the lamb balancing on the mast.

I love your art, not really sure how to put it into words, but like the eye shapes and the sketchiness. I really like it. This was a fun one to draw especially Dulciter's hair

After seeing the femme Dulciter designs I knew that was the version of them I wanted to draw. The animatic of Dulciter and Narinder hugging is so cute, that was the inspiration for the colour pallet and pose.

The stars in the eyes, background and the blue spots was inspired by this comic. I love the choice to use stars in the eyes.

Trod was the thing that really got me into cotl and has inspired a now year long art obsession with the game.

I really like your art, especially the comics. I love how expressive everyone is. Lambert and Narinder's characterisations are some of my favourite.

Anyway this piece is using the colour pallete of the devil whispering in the ear art and is based around the heart chain thing that frequently appears in the au's art.

Lambert probably tripped over and Narinder caught them. I've drawn Narinder as aware of the connection, while lamberts confused/ concerned and a little flustered that he's just staring at them. Why's his face split open? I just think it looks neat.

Here are some doodles I did during my lunch break at work! Doodles of older Puella and little sneak peak to Goat’s son “Vir”. I just like drawing Dulciter slowly embracing more of their feminine side since all their life they were ashamed of it. Reason so is because in the village they grew in, femininity was always associated with weakness and they didn’t wish to be seen that way either, so they always maintain this facade, even as a Crown Bearer. Anywho! Gotta get back to work, enjoy today’s doodles!

My Narinder is Gay

Dulciter and the lasts Narinder, is the @mary-cross

Huh, one last time eh Narinder? It's sounding like to me Nari did in fact find a way to bring Puella back. But like all deals, there needs to be an equal exchange. This is going to be a one way trip. If this is the case, what a tragic existence Dulciter lives. Just as they're finally starting to make amends with Narinder and fully realize their love for him, they're going to be faced with an impossible choice. Either they get to have Narinder, or their daughter, can't have both. The real question is whether Narinder is going to let them make that choice or decide for them that it's simply better he goes in exchange for Puella. Love hurts. Dulciter it seems will know that better than anyone.

Let me answer with this .. without actually saying what will happen…

To take, something must be given. To grasp, something must be let go. But what of the one who must wander forward, not in absence, but in darkness? What of the soul who still stands, yet no longer sees the dawn nor feels the warmth of its light?

Tell me…Does fire still burn if one cannot feel it? Is love still known when the face of the beloved fades into nothingness, when touch becomes memory and memory turns to ghost?

There is loss greater than death, for death is an end, but this? This is a world half lived. A heart beating in silence. A step taken into shadow with no way to know if there is ground beneath it.

So what is truly lost when one is left behind? The body? Or the way it once knew the world?
