About this one post, finally can write some thoughts of mine. I bet that Charles is touch-straved person because of his past. He ran away from home and start living on his own (how we know he was 13 y.o, that's the period when kids are going through teenage years and build their personality piece by piece, choose moral values and qualities, opinions, priorities for future life, slowly becoming adults) he had nobody to rely on, he was alone, he didn't had the example of what kind of person he need/should to become, and practically grew up thinking that he don't have to trust anyone & have to handle everything on his own. So as adult now he don't understand/know what he should say, how he should talk to show dear people in his life that he trust them, that he values and feel comfortable with them, and instead just use touching (pats on the shoulder, hugs and etc).
Just let me comfort this man please π he look so huge and intimidating but he have a big heart, don't even dare to say me the opposite, he needs a hug and warm tea
Why does no one talk about Charles patting Sadie on the shoulder after in this scene (mission "Horsemen, Apocalypses")? Just look at them, both tired, shocked, worried and covered in blood after been shooting down the O'Driscolls, knowing damn well that they could die.
I just can't stop thinking about how much do some gang members care about their friends, and show this through small gesturesπ
