Shia Beef

Meat the Bone Beater, the bestest barbarian ever.  His main gimmick was his, er, fertility, hence lots of drop-in plots about his many children.  He had many hilarious perfect 20's during rages so there's some good stuff in his back catalog to bring out illustrations for.  Dayjob modeled after one of Joe Mangianello's characters. The character's title was inspired heavily by a Mystery Science Theater 3000 clip on Youtube, The Many Names of David Ryder.

So it's a big deal deciding what skin looks like when converting a fantasy-race character design to color.  What does sun-burn look like on semi-olive skin?  Making it up as we go along.

  I can't explain the pole-vaulting picture, these things derail into magical tangents sometimes.

We have a new dungeon master for the time being in a new campaign, so I made a new character.  I haven't played a ranger before, so this should be fun.  He's maybe a bit similar to my last orc barbarian so I wanted a specific character inspiration to help me keep them separate.  I decided I wanted to channel Half Russian-Viking and Half Queequeg-from-Moby-Dick.  HARPOON TIME!  I named him Sven Liefson, last name subject to change.  Maybe someday I'll figure out how on earth these characters are supposed to carry around all the fifty different weapons on their person.  He's got a bow as well.
