This morning I asked International Space Station Program Science Office of astronauts can see 4th of July firework displays from space. They replied! *squee* and said that if the orbital mechanics are timed right they can see the flashes of fireworks. They included this message from Astronaut Scott Kelly too, enjoy!

5 points for every correct fireworks guess; 10 points for every correct gunshot guess. Each incorrect guess is -5 points. Unconfirmed guesses will be decided by majority vote. If you are playing alone, a coin flip can be substituted for said vote. All points and deductions are doubled for the states where both are illegal

These three OCs of mine happened to have the right colors of the flag. I made this last year on my Gamejolt account too and felt like remaking it. While I still want to.
On the left is Disrupt, her outfit is no longer like this but for sake of the colors, made her wear her old hoodie.
Fierce is in the middle, she's not really smiling, she's kinda just like annoyed smile. She doesn't wanna be here xd.
Astro is chill and is much taller than the other two.
Also sorry for disappearing, I'm more active on Gamejolt than here. StripesJ is my username on Gamejolt by the way.
I just got back from hanging out with my family at Choctaw all the way in Oklahoma for my birthday, where the lights and sounds and stuff were messing with my sense of hearing and sense of sight, really stressing me out. Seeing this brought a smile to my face 😊 thank you for this glorious post lol (p.s: at least the outdoor pool and the patisserie/bakery there were nice and kept my mind off all the negative stuff)
The 4th of July can be fun but fireworks are the W O R S T. I hope everyone who struggles with the sounds and lights of it all (like me :/) can hopefully have a not terrible night. Same goes for folks with ptsd that is triggered by the fireworks!
