Friends hearts breaking as they try not to show it as: whether through words or actions, the whumpee paints a horrifying picture of their life under the whumper, of the “rules” they have-had to follow.

Whump idea

Whumpee who will prioritise literally anything over themselves.

Broken glass and their hand is cut up, dripping everywhere? Clean up first, then the hand. Extremely tired after a stress position, aching joints begging to relax? They need to go to work, rest will come later. They’re sick, unable to move with high fever, fogginess clouding their mind and slowing their tongue? The only reason they’re resting is because caretaker had forcibly put them to bed, after finding them lying halfway down the stairs, pleading with caretaker to let them continue work.

A whumpee who doesn’t care about what happens to them, but becomes petrified over something they fail? Mood.

sickness prompts send a prompt, get a drabble.

right as rain: [character] says they’re fine right before collapsing.

in plain sight: [character] does everything to hide their cold.

snoozeville: [character] falls asleep somewhere that isn’t their bed.

bed bargain: [character A] won’t stay in bed. [character B] convinces them.

please be okay: [character] isn’t feeling well, causing them to act differently.

conversationalist: [character] rambles in their sick state.   

shut up: [character] doesn’t want any reminders about being sick while they recover. 

so dramatic: [character] complains about their cold.

careful care: it’s hard for [character A] to accept help. [character B] knows which care methods are “acceptable”. 

speechless: [character] can’t talk because of a sore throat.

dreamer: [character] talks in their sleep.

vacancy: [character] forgets where they are.

oh no: [character] gets sick at the worst possible moment. 

by your side: [character] is sick and wants company.

whatever: [character] reluctantly accepts help. 

health bar: [character] doesn’t get sick? think again!

moo: [character] isn’t very sick and milks it anyway.

double trouble: [character] is sick and injured. 

manner minded: [character] remembers their good manners while sick. 

all about me: [character] loves the attention they receive while sick. 

error 404: [character] refuses to admit they’re sick.

got germs: [character A] and [character B] are sick.

play the part: [character] pretends to be sick.

but it’s true: [character] has been known to fake being sick, but this time they’re actually sick.

Character B wakes up in hospital and is surprised to see their friends/team all there, in varying degrees of alertness.

“Why are you all here?? Don’t you have important things to do??” B asks Character A, the only one fully awake.

A gives them a perplexed look, “‘Cause we care about you, dumbass, that’s why.”

Aesthetic: Curling Up

It is an instinctive reaction - for survival, to protect the weakest organs, but also for safety, that childish belief that burying your head in your knees will make you safe.

It won’t.

In the middle of a beating, giving up on fighting and curling up into a ball in panic and waiting it out.

As a response to pain, withdrawing from the situation, and curling up until they can breathe again, until the pain is no longer overwhelming.

As a fearful flinch, drawing back and curling away - from either the enemy or from a friend, memory writing over the present.

As a coping mechanism, curling to get away from the situation, to block it out, until the only thing they can hear is their own heartbeat.

I always find myself wishing they’d hurt a character more often in my favourite shows

And you can’t really see it but I did something to my right hand?? Not sure what, but its swollen and pretty sore, must of smacked it. And they seem to have mostly faded but my left hand got all scratched up.

Hours of sleep: Probably around 8 last night?? Used to have an awful sleep schedule but I’ve gotten a lot better :)) Only issue is Im going to bed a bit late and therefore waking up late also

Instruments: I play quite a few, actually! I do voice, ukulele, piano, banjo, guitar and a little bit of drums and violin :))

Favourite food: It sounds gross but one of the only meals I eat is pasta in chicken stock with some buttered bread. Thats Autism™️ for ya

Dream trip: Hmmm idk Im not really a travel sort of guy. Though, there is a museum in Sanok, Poland- The Beskiński one- that seems incredibly interesting. But Poland isn’t exactly a friendly place for my folk.

Dream job: Honestly, who knows. About to start an acting and theatre course in college but other things Ive really considered are ethical hacking and being a conservation ranger ((Id like to start an environmental group for teens, I think its a great way to connect with yourself and nature)) or go into music
