Character B, skittish like a wild animal, attempts to squeeze themself further back into the corner.
after writing one successful sentence on my wip:
Character A being the stoic leader, refusing to negotiate with the enemy side. But as soon as Character B is put in danger, A folds.
The whumpee gets laid up for a while. It takes them forever to become coherent enough to leave the hospital, and even then they have a long recovery ahead of them.
During this time, perhaps it began when the whumpee is still delirious on painkillers, a character starts watching a TV show in their room while they keep vigil.
Perhaps this character is their best friend, maybe it’s someone they don’t necessarily get on well with. Maybe is the oldest or the youngest, but either way they begin to bond over the show. Perhaps it’s the thing that brings the whumpee back to reality, as through a haze of painkillers they mutter and offhand comment about the plot or characters:
“Who does he think he is.” A mumbles beneath an oxygen mask, “cheating bastard…”
The two characters continue to watch this show, and others if they finish it quickly. They bond over it so much, other characters have entered the room to A (smothered by blankets because B is convinced A still needs coddling) leaning against B as they argue/cry/laugh over the antics on screen.
A feverish Character B leaning into Character A’s cool touch
*sweeps all of my AU ideas under the rug* why must I be called out this way?
1. “Should I call someone for you?”
2. “Did you take anything?”
3. “Do you want to tell me happened?”
4. “When was the last time you ate anything?”
5. “Can you walk?”
6. “How do you think this will all end?”
7. “Do you need an ambulance?”
8. “Were you crying?”
9. “Should someone help you get home?”
10. “Do you know where you are?”
11. “Can you tell me your name?”
12. “Where do you want me to take you to?”
13. “Do you need my help?”
14. “How do you feel now?”
15. “Can I do anything that would make it better?”
16. “Do you want my jacket?”
17. “Can you let me see your eyes?”
18. “Should I stay a bit longer?”
19. “Will you be alright?”
20. “Do you have someone who can look after you?”
it’s the 21st day of the 21st year of the 21st century.
you can only reblog this today.
Shouting and protesting, character A is roughly held back as they’re forced to watch character B get hurt
Thinkin about split knuckles,,,
Bloody and bruised skin pulling tightly over bones. It’s just. Yeah.
One thing I love is how eager the White Collar cast is to do more of the show, like, a bunch of shows that run for a few seasons leave the cast kinda done with them but like for White Collar everyone wants to do more. You see a ton of actors who play a character like Neal Caffrey are kinda like “that was fun but I’m done” but Matt Bomer is like “yes pleaseeeee put me back in that fedora, LET ME WEAR THE FEDORA AGAIN, I love Neal Caffrey, I want to work with Tim Dekay, LETS DO MORE” and I think that says a lot about the show 😂
