Now we are trying to get out of Rafah after the continuous threats from the Israelis to invade it. Bombing everywhere, killing in all areas today.
The field situation is very difficult... and the sounds of shells are loud... and the Israeli army is advancing
As for us, we are begging you to help us. Donations are already coming to our campaign, but the donation is small and the need is very great
Dina hesitantly hugged her father back, then she squeezed him tight as though she were afraid that he'd disappear like a mental hallucination caused by a telepath.
"Shukran shukran shukran ya baba!" She said with her face smashed into her dad's chest
(Thank you thank you thank you father!)
Granted this isn't the first time she'd head words, she's heard similar speeches from sinister and Xavier. However when they spoke to her it always felt like they wanted her for their damn schemes. Her reality warping abilities are strong enough to rival legion and were strong enough to trap mad Jim jaspers in her own liitle dimension and destroy him.
'If magneto were to try and use this newfound relationship to use me I wouldn't mind doing the same.....NO this is my father even if he did I wouldn't...' she thought
Dina wants to stop being the aggressive vengeful person she currently is cause it hurts her more than it protects, the other teens really have softened her. Perhaps this relationship with her new dad could also help.

Magneto stands at the edge of the training grounds, his imposing figure casting a long shadow. The air hums with a quiet intensity as he watches Dina practice, his expression unreadable. With a deep breath, he steps forward, his cape billowing slightly in the breeze.
"Dina," he calls out, his voice firm yet gentle.
As she turns to face him, he approaches with measured steps, his eyes studying their face closely. "I am Magneto," he begins, his tone carrying the weight of his name. "I've come to speak with you about something of great importance."
He pauses, searching for the right words. "I know this may come as a shock, but I am your father. I have watched you from afar, knowing that one day this moment would come."
Magneto's gaze softens, a rare vulnerability showing through. "I understand if you have questions, or if you feel anger or confusion. But know that I am here now, and I want to be a part of your life, to help you understand your abilities and your heritage."
He extends a hand, a tentative yet hopeful gesture. "Will you allow me the chance to explain, to show you the truth of who we are?"
Dina's attention was caught by the question after getting lost in her father's life story of tragedy and she nodded trying to come up with a well worded answer. cuts up the chicken in her musakhan
"I really just want the normalcy I was denied" dina admitted after she finished chewing, the question was one she didn't expect so she just came up with an honest answer on the spot. "I finally have the freedom and relationships that make me want to keep going every day; even though I could loose either at any given time that doesn't make them lest special to me"
"Though I'll admit living at a school that's gets blown up so much you'd wonder why people keep sending their kids there.... doesn't make much sense" she chuckled "but I guess if the classroom blows up in the first 15 minutes of class we get to leave" she started giggling at her own dark joke
"I also want to get better at doing more grand things with my powers cause sinister really held me back, but I am doing pretty good considering i was able to make no one in the restaurant think our conversation is anything but normal" she reveals before manifesting a straw in her drink and taking a sip.

Erik, we know you wrote this
I'm a girl but jesus christ I would sell my soul to look like Charles Xavier in his 20's
I mean seriously, those eyes? I did not know blue before them
Those freckles? Like a galaxy held within his very skin.
That smile? It could illuminate the darkest of rooms, or the darkest of hearts (Erik who)
The most unrealistic thing about those movies was that everyone he met didn't immediately join his side, cause like you want to make me into a weapon to fight your cause and eventually die protecting you? Yep, okay, I'm in.
"to many more evenings filled with laughter, love, and the bond of family dina echoed lifting her fork so that she could watch the cheese pull of her knafeh. "Your best is all that i really need baba, Peter's the one raising my blood pressure like it's his firstborn" she laughed
"regardless I still like Peter, and he's an alright brother but he's always making jokes, I could be talking to Kurt about the homework and he'd be all "can I be your maid of honor when you get married?" It's so annoying" she sighed putting her head in her hands in mock sadness
Dina put her hands back down and smiled at her father "things cant all be perfect I guess, and I like when things aren't perfect they feel real that way, every part our lives serves a purpose in making us who we are just like you said"
dina thought of all that she has now despite all that she has suffered, it feels like som sort of divine reward that the Lord gives to his cherished worshipers. Though to dina who no longer believes in god due to feeling abandoned by him, it felt like a little sorry gift given to her to show that he cared.
"I suppose the events in my life that have beaten me down weren't good for me, but i think it was for the best that they happened, cause now I have you, Peter, my friends, and god like powers..... I don't think I would have ever gotten all of this staying at home." Dina says as the possibilities run around in her head
"but regardless I'm here I'm happy and I'm only getting more powerful" dina smirked before going back to eating

Hello, My name is Mosab Elderawi, and I live in Gaza with my family. Life here has become harder than I ever imagined, and I’m writing this with hope in my heart that you might hear our story.
The ongoing war has devastated my family. We’ve lost 25 family members—each one a beloved part of our lives, taken too soon. I miss them deeply—their laughter, their presence, their love. Every day is a reminder of this unimaginable loss.

We are now facing daily challenges to survive—things that most people take for granted, like food, clean water, and a safe place to sleep. The harsh realities of life here have replaced our dreams with the constant fight for survival.
💔 Lost Stability: The war has left us without work or a stable source of income. 🍞 Basic Needs: Food and water are becoming harder to afford with rising prices and scarce resources. 📚 Dreams on Hold: Like so many here, my family’s dreams have been replaced by the need to simply survive. 😢 Unimaginable Loss: Losing 25 loved ones has left a void that can never be filled.
I’m sharing our story with the hope that someone out there might care. Even $5 can make a big difference for us, and if you’re unable to donate, just reblogging this post can help spread the word.
Your kindness, no matter how small, is something we’ll never forget.
Your support is not about changing our entire situation—it’s about giving us a little relief, a little hope, and a way to keep going. We are not asking for much, and we understand if you can’t donate. Sharing our story is just as valuable to us as a donation.
Thank you for reading this far. It means the world to us to know that someone is listening. Your kindness gives us strength and helps us believe in a better tomorrow.
With all our gratitude, Mosab Elderawi and Family ❤️

I’m sorry but you can’t just give me a character who looks like a classical rendition of a demon/devil who puts on a cool guy exterior and who- in spite of getting spurned time and time again- consistently chooses to be kind and not expect me to be obsessed with him
*holds him gently* he even makes wisecracks he is the blorbo ever
Dina really appreciated how much interest Erik had in what she had to say about her family. Hes as her family too, it's just that he's brand new family so he's gotta be told about a lot of stuff since he wasn't there for.
"Yeah it's like my auntie hala's home, she and my older cousins Amira and farah lived with us in canada, me and daniel often stayed at their house while both of my parents worked, their house was decorated just like this
Then she remembered his question and quickly answers not wanting to be rude "Also my favorites are meat dishes like qidreh and musakhan, and I like to have shwarma occasionally.... Scott found a shwarma place in the city and when we went there we saw Tony stark and those fuckin' avengers so I'm just gonna order out from there" dina explained
"Mama hated the avengers, I get it from her" dina said in good humor
