Nightcrawler and his s/o proposing to each other at the same time.
A/N: eeeekkkk, this was precious to write! Thanks for requesting! <3 Pairing: Kurt Wagner x gn!reader
A Mutual Proposal
The X-Mansion balcony, bathed in the golden glow of the setting sun, offered a breathtaking panorama of the Hudson Valley. Nightcrawler, clad in his civilian attire, nervously fidgeted with a velvet box nestled in his pocket. Tonight, he was determined to ask you, his extraordinary mutant love, to be his forever.
You'd brought the two of you your favorite takeout to eat out on the balcony, dressed up in a fancy basket. Kurt had planned the date. It was somewhat formal, with a table set in the middle and a few candles lit on a white tablecloth draped over the metal table. Then, he'd bamfed in right next you. You jumped slightly, startled by his sudden presence. "Kurt! Oh my god, you scared me half to death!" You exclaimed, a blush creeping up your neck.
Nightcrawler chuckled, his blue fur softening around the edges. "Just a little teleportation trick, Liebling. I wanted to share this view with you," he gestured towards the sprawling landscape bathed in twilight hues, then pulled your chair out for you to sit.
You smiled, a familiar warmth spreading through you. "It's beautiful," you whispered, your gaze lingering on him a beat too long. You followed suit and sat down, Kurt however remained standing. The air crackled with unspoken emotions. This was one of your favorite spots just to catch a moment of peace with one another.
Kurt cleared his throat, taking a deep breath. "There's, uh, something I've been wanting to tell you." He reached into his pocket, his fingers brushing the smooth surface of the box.
Suddenly, you interjected, your voice barely a whisper. "Kurt, I…" You fumbled with the picnic basket, finally pulling out a small, intricately carved wooden box.
You both stared, mouths agape, at the items in each other's hands. Nightcrawler let out a sheepish grin. "Looks like we both have something to say, ja?" he said, his voice laced with amusement.
You burst out laughing, the tension dissolving. "It seems so!" you exclaimed, a playful glint in your eyes. "Alright, Kurt, on three?"
Nightcrawler, ever the gentleman, gestured for you to speak first. "Eins, zwei..." he counted, his voice warm and sincere.
"Drei!" you both blurted out at the same time.
A cacophony of love confessions filled the air. "I love you, Kurt," you finally managed, your voice thick with emotion. "And I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
Nightcrawler, his heart overflowing, beamed back. "Liebling, I was just about to ask you the same thing. I have this ring..." He fumbled with the box, revealing a stunning sapphire ring that shimmered like his beautiful skin.
Tears welled up in your eyes as you reached into your own box. Inside, nestled on a bed of soft velvet, lay a simple silver band inscribed with the words "Mein Liebe" in elegant script. It was a perfect symbol of your love and his native language.
"This is ridiculous," you said, your voice thick with happy tears. "We both planned a proposal, and neither one of us knew."
Nightcrawler chuckled, pulling you into a tight embrace. "Ridiculous, maybe. But perfectly us, wouldn't you say, Schatz?"
You squeezed him back, your heart brimming with joy. "Absolutely perfect."
As the last rays of sunlight dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in a myriad of colors, Nightcrawler slipped the sapphire ring onto your finger. You, in turn, placed the silver band on his. With a shared look of love and laughter, you sealed the deal with a kiss, the X-Mansion balcony bathed in the golden promise of your forever.

Faeries Common and uncommon weaknesses: Iron - Iron is one of the oldest and most traditional weaknesses of faeries.  In pop culture you don’t see it used too often as a weakness but it’s started to slowly get a foothold with things like Disney’s Gargoyles (TV series) in which Oberon was wounded with iron, Puck was restrained by iron, and so was Coyote.  Iron is also how King Stefan was able to cut off Maleficent’s wings in the film Maleficent.  In most folklore iron is the only metal that can cause human-like injuries to a faery and usually a part cut off with iron cannot be restored. Iron chains can be used to restrain a faery or restrict their magick.  And an iron dagger (if inducing a serious injury) might be fatal to a faery as magick will not heal that injury. They would have to recover as a mortal would.  Iron being a weakness of faeries is why horseshoes are believed to be lucky and why people used to hang iron scissors over babies as they slept, so that a faery would not steal the child.  In Marvel Heroes MMORPG if you fight the Dark Elves they will sometimes cry out “They must have deadly iron!”  Iron is a common weakness of faeries and elves (in some folklore, particularly Nordic).  Iron is a weakness of the Dark Elves in the Marvel comic books (but not so much in the movies). In some lore the mere contact with iron will burn while in others it requires an actual injury to do harm. In some fictions even the ringing of an iron bell will hurt a faery. In some lore the mere contact with iron will burn while in others it requires an actual injury to do harm.  In some fictions even the ringing of an iron bell will hurt a faery. True names - In some folklore if you know a faery’s true name you can summon or even enslave the faery.  Calling a faery’s true name three times will usually compel that faery to appear.  It’s the notion that names have power and so faeries never give their young common names that helped create such folkloric figures as Rumplestiltskin (who was a literal faery / imp in his faery tale).  Calling out Toot’s true name three times is how Harry Dresden summoned him in the first Dresden Files novel.  And in Once Upon a Time Belle was able to summon Mr. Gold / Rumplestiltskin in season 4 by calling his name three times.  This lore has trickled into ghost stories like Bloody Mary, The Candyman movie franchise and, of course, Beetlejuice.
Sweets - Many faeries crave sweets.  It won’t hurt them but they do crave it and can be used to lure some types of faeries into traps.
Gold - in the Rare exception of the Dullahan (headless Horsemen) gold will ward them off.
Lemons - Apparently in some modern lore faeries do not like lemons for some reason.
Truth - Many faeries in folklore cannot out right lie. They can deceive through careful wording but they cannot directly lie.  This is hinted at with some of Rumplestiltskin’s dealings in Once Upon a Time and comes up in many folktales.
Note: I thought about adding decapitation and fire to this list but I’m not sure about those… Â
Dina really appreciated how much interest Erik had in what she had to say about her family. Hes as her family too, it's just that he's brand new family so he's gotta be told about a lot of stuff since he wasn't there for.
"Yeah it's like my auntie hala's home, she and my older cousins Amira and farah lived with us in canada, me and daniel often stayed at their house while both of my parents worked, their house was decorated just like this
Then she remembered his question and quickly answers not wanting to be rude "Also my favorites are meat dishes like qidreh and musakhan, and I like to have shwarma occasionally.... Scott found a shwarma place in the city and when we went there we saw Tony stark and those fuckin' avengers so I'm just gonna order out from there" dina explained
"Mama hated the avengers, I get it from her" dina said in good humor

Magneto stands at the edge of the training grounds, his imposing figure casting a long shadow. The air hums with a quiet intensity as he watches Dina practice, his expression unreadable. With a deep breath, he steps forward, his cape billowing slightly in the breeze.
"Dina," he calls out, his voice firm yet gentle.
As she turns to face him, he approaches with measured steps, his eyes studying their face closely. "I am Magneto," he begins, his tone carrying the weight of his name. "I've come to speak with you about something of great importance."
He pauses, searching for the right words. "I know this may come as a shock, but I am your father. I have watched you from afar, knowing that one day this moment would come."
Magneto's gaze softens, a rare vulnerability showing through. "I understand if you have questions, or if you feel anger or confusion. But know that I am here now, and I want to be a part of your life, to help you understand your abilities and your heritage."
He extends a hand, a tentative yet hopeful gesture. "Will you allow me the chance to explain, to show you the truth of who we are?"
Dina was bursting with excitement as she undid her seatbelt and got out of the car "this place smells exactly like my sittoo's hands!" She said with nothing but glee. Closing the door behind her and and ran up to one of the restaurant's windows to look inside.
Her dad was right about this place, just the smell of it brings her back to every holiday she spent in either Egypt or Palestine with her extended family. She rushed over to her dad as he got out of the car and grabbed his hand rushing him inside with her, as if he wasn't magneto the master the master of magnetism.
Tonight he's just her dad and she's just his daughter.

Dina's attention was caught by the question after getting lost in her father's life story of tragedy and she nodded trying to come up with a well worded answer. cuts up the chicken in her musakhan
"I really just want the normalcy I was denied" dina admitted after she finished chewing, the question was one she didn't expect so she just came up with an honest answer on the spot. "I finally have the freedom and relationships that make me want to keep going every day; even though I could loose either at any given time that doesn't make them lest special to me"
"Though I'll admit living at a school that's gets blown up so much you'd wonder why people keep sending their kids there.... doesn't make much sense" she chuckled "but I guess if the classroom blows up in the first 15 minutes of class we get to leave" she started giggling at her own dark joke
"I also want to get better at doing more grand things with my powers cause sinister really held me back, but I am doing pretty good considering i was able to make no one in the restaurant think our conversation is anything but normal" she reveals before manifesting a straw in her drink and taking a sip.
