What Donuts Each Fox Would Order

(and how they would annoy me as a customer)

from a sleep-deprived donut shop worker

Neil: our summer specialty of a glazed ring sliced in half with whipped cream and strawberries, but he still asks for it in the fall and we have to look him in the eye and tell him strawberries are out of season in December

Andrew: a donut of my own making! a glazed ring with crosshatched caramel drizzle. it's truly the most delicious donut on this earth and I will make it for myself but if a customer ordered it I would cry cause it takes so long to heat up the caramel and idk how to price it

Matt: a peanut butter triangle, but in the drive-thru at 1:30pm (we close at 2) and when I say we're out he just looks very sad and drives away (this doesn't annoy me it just makes me sad)

Dan: blueberry buttermilk, but she asked me if it was blueberry despite it saying it is in large text and then took 30 seconds of staring to say "yeah I'll take it"

Kevin: a plain old-fashioned (no glaze), but actually we're out already and he asks if I can just go make him one then

Nicky: a half-dozen filled donuts, but it's 5:01am and I just got there and opened the drive-thru, hence the donuts are not yet filled, when I tell him I'll need to fill them he asks how long it will take

Aaron: cream cheese cinnamon roll, but he would order it after 10:30am so I would have to go in the back and frost it for him despite the fact that I already frosted a bunch that morning

Allison: white cake, chocolate frosting, but in the drive-thru and she just says "a white cake donut" so I have to ask if she wants chocolate, vanilla, maple w nuts, cherry, or cookies and cream frosting and she looks mad when there are so many options and then just says "chocolate is fine"

Renee: 2 chocolate bars, but she is so gd nice it takes so long to get to her order and every time she asks my name and then says how beautiful it is. it always makes me happy but also like ma'am this is a donut shop drive-thru. once told me the meaning of my mom's name after asking. always says god bless you before driving away

boy overthinks literally everything else

neil’s too preoccupied with analyzing other people’s emotions to care about his own. like his feelings never,, mattered to him ?? it was always about survival, not about living, so of course he doesn’t bother interpreting his own emotions, he only worries about those of others because that’s what has always been important for his survival

andrew’s the type of person that won’t move an inch when neil falls asleep on him but then grumbles about it when neil finally wakes up

it’s the way that the foxes didn’t stay anywhere overnight all year and instead drove home in the middle of the night every single time to avoid being stuck somewhere unfamiliar, but they willingly stayed at a hotel when neil was taken and would’ve been fine with booking a second night when he came back to them if that’s what he wanted. like andrew would’ve stabbed them if they even thought about leaving, but the best part is that he didn’t even have to. i’m sorry i’m just crying

ramble to me about skam france s3 au and witchcraft andreil. plot, what made you want to write them, if there’s a part you’re especially excited to write,, just anything

Thank you for the ask! I'm majorly excited about both of these so here you go!

Skam France S3 Au

This au came about from me and one of my best friends just absolutely losing our shit over the piano scene (found here) and then going oh my god make it Andreil. It just kinda spiraled and it was my first multi-chaptered WIP! I need to rewrite quite a few scenes as most of it is done (there's about 2 chapters left) but I had yet to edit it or really add in the Andreil aspects for most of the early chapters. So it's hopefully close to done? Idk but I would really like it to be the first chaptered fic I post. The piano scene has been written and I still love it very much so I'm excited for everyone to be able to read it! There isn't much plot to explain cause it's kinda just the plot of the season with some changes to fit Andreil in. Oh also, if you want to watch it you can watch the season separate from the first two!

Witchcraft Andreil

Another fic that me and a friend came up with! Unfortunately they are no longer active but I still want to finish it and maybe see if they'll reappear. It's all based on this one textpost that basically goes "disgruntled goth that keeps answering the door like "no I'm not the witch, he lives over there" and pointing across the street to a dazzling pretty boy waving enthusiastically" but make Andrew a plant witch and Neil a necromancer who specializes in pets. So Andrew is just trying to run his little plant shop and help grandma's with their dying gardens and people keep showing up with their dead/dying animals and like what is he supposed to do?? What do you say in that situation? So he just silently points to the obnoxious Necromancer here! sign across the street and resigns himself to the fact that no one cares to read when their pet is dying.

That is until it's Andrew's pet that is dying, as in one of his very loyal pet crows being rushed into the shop in the hands of one redheaded necromancer. Apparently, his cat has an affinity for hunting birds, but he promises he can fix it. And he does, and all is well, so Andrew returns to his plants and his pointing. Until the cat starts to appear in his shop. There's a twist in there somewhere that I obviously will not reveal so I'll just promise to finish it eventually.

okay but andrew thinking that neil was just a side-effect of the drugs just-

he thought that neil was too good to be true, that there was no way he could actually be real 

he probably braced himself for bitter disappointment when he was going through withdrawal, was probably expecting to feel apathy towards everyone and everything yet again

but then neil was there and he was just as interesting as before

he still cared about andrew

he respected andrew’s boundaries

he didn’t run

he kept his promises

the man with a plethora of secrets willingly opened about his life, unprompted, for three hours on the bus

how did andrew come to terms with the fact that neil wasn’t a pipedream, he wasn’t too good to be true?? 

how did he accept that neil chose him and he wasn’t backing out, wasn’t leaving??? 

how long did it take him to stop expecting neil to abandon him? 

how long did it take him to realize that neil was permanent?

and for how long did andrew think that he didn’t deserve any of it?
