Halloween 2015 Rec List!

Let’s see, to start with I have my 2013 Halloween list and this monster list (featuring vampires, werewolves, ghosts, and zombies). Here are the more recent stories I would add:

Monster Stories

The Lingering Taste of Love (by paeanrela) - Desperately in love with England, a ghost seeks to consummate his love by possessing America.

For Want of the Sun (by Otoshigo) - Dorky Vampire Alfred struggles to maintain his web of lives after a sexy British writer comes to live with him.

The King and Bisclavret (by NoRhymeNorReason) - A werewolf and a vampire meet in the forest. You won’t believe what happens next!

Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing (by lymerikk) - Arthur meets a werewolf and wants to become friends.

A Reason To Hope (by sykron (night_kaze)) - “Ever since the dead arose, Arthur had never once believed that things would get better. And then he met Alfred.“

Death in Two Parts (by paeanrela) - After many strange and frightful dreams, Arthur isn’t surprised when the vampire finally finds him. Warning: character death!

Creature of the Dark (by Hannaadi88) - Alfred is a demon who wants to be human. Arthur is the demon who loves him.

Align (by RobinRocks) - Nations are monsters who devour each other. And America is the worst monster of all.

Monster Smut

Monsters in the Forest (by snowyfoxpaws) - A detour in the woods leads to werewolf omageverse sex.

Nowhere But Down (by prussium) - Hippie Alfred repays punk Arthur’s kindness with drugs and sex… and a taste of blood. 1970s AU.

Zombies vs Unicorns! (by xx-animeXalchemist-xx) - A silly argument leads to a sex ban and UST. No monsters, but fun sex, so I’m counting it.

Halloween Stories

The Waning (by RobinRocks) - Vampire Arthur and his undead husband Alfred are trapped in a centuries old grudge match between human monsters and monster monsters. Ongoing, but I’m really hopeful she’s gonna finish this one!

Captain America and the Pirate (by societallyDysfunctional) - America can’t resist the sexy pirate at France’s Halloween party.

Halloween Smut!

Dark Knight and the Brit Wonder (by DestinyShiva) - America can’t resist England’s cute Robin costume.

What Happens on Halloween (by NihonBara) - England’s love potions have never worked on America… until now. Dub con.

The first moment of splendor

I made this one based on the first scene of season 2 and this made me believe that Aziraphale fell in love the moment he met Crowley while Crowley at this point was just full of awe and wonder as he created the galaxy. I noticed that Az somehow copied some of Crowley’s manerism, just bubly and cheerful, or perhaps the wing cover later, back in season 1, was Aziraphale returning Crowley’s kind gesture at the very beginning, this moment.

In any case i love love love it, soooo many good moments in this season. What are your thoughts?

don't generally post these types of things but i haven't seen anyone else bring it up, so...

for all new reddit refugees, i highly recommend this video:

i see a lot of people talking about changing your profile picture asap, and i fully agree, but aside from that i haven't seen general advice.

the most important thing, after changing your pfp, is to understand how reblogs work. one thing i consistently see people get wrong is putting text on every reblog instead of in the tags. i think this video very clearly explains how these features should be used.

aside from that it's pretty simple! find people with similar interests, follow them, and cultivate your dash! hope this helps :)

“You are allowed to shit talk your NOTP as often as you’d like” and “If you shit talk them on other people’s posts or in the main tag, you are a dick” can and do coexist.

You are allowed to feel grossed out by ships. It doesn’t erase basic manners.

Raise your hand if you’ll never get over the fact that Draco threw Harry his wand in the battle originally, defying his parents and the Dark Lords wishes, finally making his own decision for himself but they cut the scene to keep up his “cowardly” image.
