How some of us gotta act when Byler is endgame:
adult will does one of those "donate to 'adopt' and take care of an endangered animal!" things and he ofc donates to help tigers out and always looks forward to the update emails about how they're doing and checks out the tracker and even had its picture printed out and framed bc that's his Child. its portrait is nestled between the rest of his n mike's family pictures btw. in case you were not yet aware of this fun fact
Florida?
Sorry for not being more specific, there were only ten options so I started going with continents
Eldritch upsidedown-ified will byers, coming right up
miwi where they're playing together but will's a sleepy boy so he yawns and gets drowsy and mike encourages him to nap with his head on his lap and will's like. okay. he settles himself properly with mike's lap on his pillow and he sleeps. it's a good sleep. being around mike always guarantees good dreams.
when he wakes up he slowly blinks his eyes open and sees that mike is staring down at him, playing with his hair. his fingers are so gentle, and will falls a little more in love.
that was the night i nearly lost you.
the worst was over, my hand was the one you reached for, all throughout the great war.
The WillEl fight/flight dichotomy is really important when discussing how people respond to abusers. Both of their points of view are vital to the show and they show them both in deeply empathetic lights. Sometimes people respond with violence and we can fully understand why they did so. Sometimes people do not fight back and they are not weaker for doing so and what happens to them is not their fault.
