My 4k render. Like my mother told me,
You build your first house the way you think you want it, learn from the mistakes; sell it and build another one.
I learned so much about lighting, texturing and rendering with this project. It took forever, but I now I can move onward to other projects. This is my first real big environment that I composted with render passes. I also used photons, final gather rays, god rays, mia material, and a render farm. The render farm was awesome, and I got to learn Thinkbox Deadline, as well as help other students and productions manage the farm. (I got to be the school’s render wrangler.). I would like to change a few things with this render. However, its time to move on to the next project, I spent enough time on this one. All well worth it.

Name: Office Set.
Assignment: for 3D Modeling class. Assignment #2 Build an office and desk set. Must have a glass object, three point lighting and textures and bump mapping.
As you can see I went through a lot of tweaking to texture the scene nice enough. I just done a Tardis because I was bored and I love Doctor Who!

work in progress. the tentacles (arms) are not done or nearly long enough. I will sculpt on it more in the morning.
First doodle of the new year. I have been preoccupied with 3D work.(I will eventually upload….) I needed a small break from it, I miss doodling. spent less than 10 minutes on it.
Inspired by Robert DeJesues work on his blog, with his toon doodles based on photos, seemed a fun method to brush up my neglected 2D skills…. Thanks man!
(Doodle is mine) model image found via pinterest. You can send me a link to your picture here and I might doodle it. (Note: offensive pictures will be ignored.)
Doodled on Autodesk Sketchbook Pro Tablet Edition (get the current version via the link- I used the abandoned Android version)
