and they deserve to be included in your pride posts/memes and in pride events.

Trans people (both binary and nonbinary) can be straight

Bisexual, pansexual, omnisexual, and polysexual people don’t always want to be called gay, part-gay, “basically gay”, etc.

Asexual people can be heteroromantic & label themselves as straight

Aromantic people can be heterosexual & label themselves as straight

Intersex people can be straight

And there’s probably other examples that arend coming to mind either

Sexual Assault & Rape

This shit can happen on any day, but this April 24th bullshit is scaring me. i live on a college campus and a few months ago on February 8th IN MY DORM HALL, there was an assault that occurred and i'm just finding out about it FIVE MINUTES AGO. this shit is terrifying, and i'm scared out of my mind.

if you do not know, it is being rumored that a group of men have marked April 24th as "National Rape Day" and are putting out tips and "tricks" on how to get away with it.

i don't really leave my dorm unless it's for food or to go to class and they end pretty early as is, but not with this April thing going around, i'm even more scared that people are going to feel emboldened by this and i'm scared for the women around the world and the country as well. we shouldn't be afraid to walk past a group of men or a man and it's so fucked up, but this is our reality as women and i'm petrified.

So to all my women I am BEGGING YOU, if you are not aware of this, please make yourself and others aware as well. if you do not have a weapon, get one and quickly. you have the constitutional right to carry and protect yourself AT ALL TIMES. DO NOT go out alone at night. Hell, don't go out alone if you can avoid it. If you are a college student and feel unsafe call your campus police and ask for a Police escort.

God forbid any of this happens to any of you because i love you, in the event that anything occurs or you are assaulted, FIGHT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN AND SCRATCH THE HELL OUT OF THEM to get their DNA under your nails.

These times are absolutely horrifying. Stay safe out here, and I love all of you 💗

I don’t care about who is right and who is wrong. Making posts about someone should end their own lives and being angry or cheerful about is HIGHLY unacceptable, disturbing and no laughing matter what’s so ever. WE ALL SHOULD KNOW THAT BY NOW. There is no fucking excuse for it. People actually end their own lives, even it’s the littlest of things. The fact some make excuses about how funny it is to say those things is DISGUSTING. I’ve lost someone online long ago and I will never forget it. If you read this and brush it off. It says a lot about you than anything. You don’t care about people. You are worse than garbage.
