Walking into jinxs workshop, your immediately met with the loud blaring of ‘get jinxed’ echoing off the walls and the lingering smell of explosives. Tossing your tattered bag down onto a stool, you glance around the colorfully spray painted room with no sight of your girlfriend and attempt to call out to her over the loud music.

After only few seconds of no response you hear the sound of clanking above you, and it’s there, on the ceiling, where you find your girlfriend biting her lip in concentration while tinkering the with wires and mechanisms on her latest bomb, while her bright blue braids casually dangled off the metal ceiling beam—the beam that hung above a giant dark pit in the workshop.

Jinx doesn’t take notice to you at first, not until you toss a pen laying on the floor, breaking her focus and making her flinch. she turns her head to see you standing with hands on hips and she grinned widely.

“hey-ya toots! how long you been here?” jinx asked, turning the nob on her speaker to lower the music and pulling her goggles up.

“just got back, had to sneak past sevika so she wouldn’t flip about me distracting you.” you rolled your eyes in annoyance at the thought. “is there a reason your dangling above a deep dark pit?”

“what, a girl can’t just build bombs on the ceiling because she feels like it anymore? and anyhow, more height means bigger boom!” jinx kicked her feet back and fourth in the air and flailed her arms dramatically.

“yeahhh, not sure how accurate that one is. just come down here, would you?”

“jeez, didn’t know you missed me so much. if your not carful toots, i might start to think you like me.” the blue haired girl teased, swinging down from the ceiling bar and landing ungracefully in front of you before planting a kiss on your cheek.

“and what a tragedy that would be” you remarked back at her antics. the grin still plastered on her face widened as you sassed her back.

“please i’m a total catch.” jinx replied back, with playful gleam in her eye. she loved that you matched her so well, it was one of the reasons she loved you so much.

you smirk and challenge her. “yeah? and what makes you such the catch?”

she leaned in close to you, nose to nose. “i’d be happy to show you..” her playful grin was replaced with a sly one, grabbing your hand, she pulled you over to the large circular work desk in the center of the room and plopped down on a swivel chair. You looked down into her pink eyes as she placed her spray paint-covered hands on the back of your thighs.

you couldn’t help but admire her in moments like this—when she was so domestic, so loving. that was your jinx.

you tilt your head down, breaking the eye contact. “missed you today. heard some talk about a topside building exploding? makes me worry ‘bout you.” you admitted softly to her.

jinx huffs, her smile slightly faltering at the mention of the explosion. she took your chin in between her fingers and tilted your head to look at her.

“pshhh, i can handle myself out there. come on babe, lighten up!“ she shakes her head to dismisses your concern.

there’s a brief pause after, one that’s quiet—never silent (not for jinx anyhow), but quiet. it’s nice and you relish in its rarity. jinx breaks the bubble after a moment.

“so you missed me?” the smirk appears back on her face and you shove at her shoulder.

“maybe.”

“just maybe?” she whispers.

your face is just centimeters away from hers before you close the distance. you feverishly slam your lips into hers and she returns it instantly.

jinx hums as you break apart to catch your breath and with a sly grin she grips your hips with her slender fingers, pulling you onto her lap so your straddling her.

you place your fingers on the nape of her neck and she kisses you again—gently biting you lip, pulling on it before slipping her tongue into your mouth and pressing you impossibly close to her. your head spins at your girlfriends actions, slightly opening your lips to allow her to tangle her tongues with yours.

you move your hands to tug on her thick blue braids and jinx can’t help but to let out a whimper into your mouth at the feeling.

the kiss lasts for some time, with jinx’s hands starting to wander and caress every area of exposed skin not covered by your shirt. Fingers run down every curve of your body, her pink and blue nails trace your spine, making you shiver against her and jinx smiles into the kiss.

ever the impatient girl, your girlfriend makes quick work of unbuttoning your jeans and slipping a hand under the waistband, causing your hips to shamelessly jerk. she relishes in the way your body reacts to her touch and drags her hand over your clothed pussy.

you loosely wrapped your arms around her neck and she pulled her head from the crook of your neck to look at you. “i know that. but you know how he gets.” you said,remembering the last time jinx came to you, as frantic as you’d ever seen her after she had skipped out on a big job and silco expressed his disappointment with her. the last thing either of you wanted was a repeat of that.

she sighs heavily, her expression turning sour and she looks away—the memory of silcos disappointment still fresh in the blue haired girls mind. “fine” she grumbles. “i guess your right.”

you give her a sweet smile, reaching up to smooth her kinky hair down. The moment is interrupted by the sound heavy boots against the floor, entering jinx’s workshopand you both turn to look at sevika.

“jinx.” her muscular arms are crossed across her chest as she stands looking at the two of you, her usual bored expression across her face. “silco wants-“

“yeah, yeah, i know. you need help from little ol’ jinx” your girlfriend gives one last peck to your lips before you slide off her lap and jinx stands, walking over to sevika as you turn your back to them and fix yourself up.

“i get it sevi” she pats sevikas chest “don’t worry, im sure you’ll be brave enough to go on your own. one day.”

“watch it. let’s go before i change my mind.” sevika growls in response to her snarky comment and swats her hand away, turning swiftly to walk out.

“text me on your way back, yeah?” you tell her.

“of course. see ya toots! be back soon!” jinx turns and says her goodbyes, winking slyly.

“see ya baby.”

As you grow, you learn a lot of lessons and I’ve learned to do things when you’re still excited about doing them because of you procrastinate it won’t be interesting to you anymore

And that’s how a lot of potential and ideas go to waste.
