The way I see it…Even when he’s saying ‘I even implemented his annoying personality’ something like that……
I just knew he like him. HE DEFINITELY DID. THERE’S NO WAY. NO DAMN WAY….THAT HE HATE HIM. NO…..NO OUNCE OF HATE AT ALL WHEN HE SAY THAT!!!!
No such thing. The ship definitely sails itself~
I’m really satisfied by, even so proud of, the Korean dub of Yugioh 《The Dark Side of Dimensions》! The translation is 99.7% accurate compared to the Japanese original version. (The mistrans of ‘Planners’ into ‘Plana’ accounts for the remaining 0.3%, though) And all the voice acting veterans do sincerely a stellar job, making me feel as though the movie was filmed right here in South Korea! Kim Hyun-Wook voicing Aigami is especially noteworthy; he’s only 24 years old but in DSOD, he sounds like he’s been in this business for 30 years 8-D
They should release the DVD and Blu-ray so that Yugioh fans outside South Korea can get access to this wonderful dub :-)
But that’s not all,
It’s predictable that both the way they translate the original script and the way the voice actors do their characters reflect what they think of the characters, and….
In the dubbed movie, one of Seto’s lines reminiscing Yami Yugi is like, in Korean :
“그래, 덱의 구성, 작전 구성, 그리고 은근슬쩍 사람의 신경을 긁는 얄미운 태도까지…..”
In that text, the Korean adjective “얄밉다” is EXTREMELY important;
It basically means ‘annoying’, which is what his Japanese original quote intended to, but the Korean word “얄밉다” also means “annoying, but in an acceptable, CUTE, ADORABLE way”….
…..which leads to the impression that Yami Yugi was “ADORABLE” for Kaiba.
Therefore, it sounded like :
That last stretch photo. Is he pregnant or something? XD
So I don’t have the heart to draw fanarts lmao.I was about to but time is a bitch so….
Anyway figured I could celebrate this anniversary by going out to dinner at my favorite place so….here it is!!!These are my picks for my dinner. They’re all great~!

More Yu-Gi-Oh! DSoD stuff

Say….
Uh,,haha I really don’t know how to start.I love pride shipping so much.Thinking about them defeating a Common enemy just proves to me how great they are when they’re together.God even that..when they stand Side by side its just so…indesribable. They’re just….so THAT,you know?
Now I dismiss everything related to enemy/hero stuff as them since Iam quite obsessive about them.Although,I wouldn’t want them to be together for real. It’s just,,dating is too much stuff man.Marriage too.I can’t imagine all the work you have to put in for a relationship.Cmon,Atem and Kaiba are closer to each other than they think they ever will be
There’s no need for marriage,or getting serious with them.I feel like, them going steady is gonna ruin the already perfect thing they have. They already have a special way of their relationship.Sure, their relationship is complex but I like where they are now
It’s just the perfect combination of rivalry and friendship, and it’s,its..it’s perfect. They’re in THAT place, you know?
Its nice to see their first duel stage and their last one.The difference is amazing
People have been wondering since DSoD why Kaiba chose to duel the holographic fake Atem in a church. This got me thinking, too, and I believe that this has something to do with the tournament he is holding later.
First, let’s take a look at the stages Kaiba and Atem have dueled before:
They were always public, quite flashy even. People could attend the stage and witness their duel against each other. The only exception is the very first time they’ve met and dueled (inside the empty classroom) and the duel against holographic fake Atem (unless you count the KC scientists as spectators). Since Kaiba himself could decide how the stage for the Battle City duel, as well as the duel against holographic fake Atem should look like (due to Solid Vision), it is interesting to compare these two stages with each other:
- The Battle City duel is set inside the colosseum. Kaiba explains why he chose this setting: “We will fight the decisive battle in the name of fate! Like the ancient roman gladiators who fought with their lives for pride and freedom!” [ Side note: It’s interesting that Kaiba, who claims that he doesn’t hold any interest in the “lost honor of the past” chose a setting that is extremely famous for being a relic of the ancient past. ]
- The church in DSoD is now something completely different. A church isn’t a profane place meant for battle. A church symbolizes a sacred place where rituals are being held. The same an ancient temple symbolizes.
