Trying out something different for the clouds~
Actually your society is the freaks for shooting everything that moves and burning half your "nature reserves" every year so that upperclass dandies can eat leaded pheasant. North Americans are the well adjusted ones here, your country has become a desolate suburban lawn in island form
Things the MDZS fandom desperately needs, if they do not already exist:
A reference page of Chinese words and terms used frequently in canon and how to correctly spell them.ย (I.e. all the various common forms of address/titles, different ways to say brother, words like jinshi, etc. )
A giant flowchart of the differences between the plot in the various versions of the story, so I can figure out exactly which version of canon Iโm borrowing from in my fic and/or if Iโm accidentally borrowing from someone elseโs fic.
A list of all the book chapters and brief spoilery summary of what happens in each one.ย So if I want to go look something up to reference it, I have at least a place to start in looking for it.ย With all the flashbacks, any scene could be freaking anywhere.ย (Except for Chapter 100.ย I know what happens in Chapter 100.)
When Armand and Daniel finally kiss on screen the โafter the showโ bit is just going to be Assad giggling maniacally
Tiddies Thirst Trap Ft. KinnPorsche The Series Cast
[id: screenshots of tiktok captions. the images say, โbut the only reason we still love princess diana is because she did not have the time to disappoint us.โ]
begging queer kids to read up on princess dianaโs involvement with the community. yes, she was a rich, pretty monarch. yes, she died young.
but the reason why queer people love her is because she used her privilege during the aids crisis to advocate for sick queer men, when very few others would - much less someone of her status.
diana spent years advocating for the health and care of queer people with hiv/aids. in 1987, at the height of the epidemic, she opened the first specialist clinic dedicated to treating aids patients (the first clinic of itโs kind in the uk).
she also fought public hysteria by hugging and shaking bare hands with aids patients, at a time when aids was thought to be spread by skin to skin contact. not only that, she visited patients in the clinic regularly and even comforted them through their sickness.
and when queen elizabeth told her to try focusing on โsomething more pleasantโ?
diana ignored her and kept fighting.
and this is only her work towards the aids crisis. she publicly called out the royal family, brought attention to numerous world issues, and was known as an advocate for empathy and kindness. sheโs known and loved as the peopleโs princess for good reason
